EDIT: Hey there guys! I'm active here on swap-bot, but I've been super busy with school lately since the new term started. Twenty books to read, and there's certainly not enough time. This may mean I might take a little while to answer your messages, but I'll always answer with in a day or two (unless I'm writing a paper!)
I am a 19 year old university student. I like to draw, write, read, and create things. I like sending and receiving letters. I live my life frame by frame, I love photography, art, crafts, and beautiful, simple looking things.
My favourite colour is mint green, I like cats, owls and fish although I do not have any pets. I have a typewriter that doesn't work very well. I sometimes write down my dreams, I love my moleskine, and I carry my life in a little worn purse.
Patti Smith, The Weatherthans, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Coeur de Pirate, Fleet Foxes, France Gall, Francois Hardy, Hayden, Detektivbyran, Modest Mouse, Lily Allen, Regina Spektor, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Simon and Garfunkel
Alternatively, I really like the music that I make myself and music that local bands and local artists make. If I'm ever swapping a CD, I'll try to include at least one song that I've written even if it's not the best recording.
Room with a View, On the Road, Let the Right One In, The white hotel, Macbeth, Harry Potter, Feed, Speak, Rant, Fight Club, Choke, Haunted, Uglies, Pretties, A Midsummer's Night Dream, The Tamer Tamed, Endgame, Faust
I know I've read a lot of books that I've liked, but I can't seem to remember all of them. I am an english major, so I do read a lot of books, plays and poetry which I why I called this section "literature" not just books. I will undoubtably read a lot this year, although I wouldn't say that all of the works will become my favourites, but I'll keep this list updated.
I love photography, stitching things, zines, collages. I like painting, woodblock printing, silkscreening. Card making, felt pin making, letter and mail art, poetry, haikus, writing. I am in the process of making ATC's and APC's. It's a little hard to find sturdy cardboard that's not too thick.
I am currently trying to organize my room and my life a little bit, so most of my art for a little while is going to be mostly written and of the drawing variety until I can work my room into a system of things that will work and can be put back together. I am a recovering messy person.
I thought I would just add this one to fill out my profile. I'll probably update it when a more embarrassing moment arrises.
I was leaving my Shakespeare class, and my friend said that I should ask one of the teaching assistant if she had my paper. There are two TA's (teaching assistants who are grad students), and one of them is incredibly beautiful, and the other is a bit unkempt.
So I go up to the beautiful TA, and all I keep thinking is how intimidating it is to be standing in front of someone who is so pretty. She's not model gorgeous, but she has shaggy, shortish brown hair, and often wears nice skirts and blouses. Her skin is so pale and perfect, and she's the kind of person you wish you knew because you know she probably reads a lot of good books.
All I can say out of my mouth is "Um, do you have that um, I mean my uh thing that I handed in.. my paper, I handed it in on Tuesday." She smiles at me sympathetically and tells me that the professor marked a bunch of them and probably marked mine. I felt so silly and embarrassed in front of someone who I admired so much.

Can you please let me know if you are still in the Moleskine Challenge as someone is about to post a book to you and you have not replied to my email.
HELLO. I have been flaked on in your Project 12 swap and you still haven't rated me for the Project 12 swap I sent to you. What's going on?
A very belated THANK YOU for angel-ing the "Angry Letters.... SENT" swap when I got flaked on. I'm sorry to say how clear it is that that friend is no friend, but you obviously are. Don't hang on for sentimental reasons. Go and find a better calibre of friend to pal around with! (That's my unbidden advice anyway.) Thanks again. :)
Hi there! I just wanted to thank you for organizing the Anger letter- Sent swap. It was fantastic and very therapeutic for me! Again, thank you!
Welcome to the Moleskine Challenge, so glad you joined. These books are gonna be amazing.
Hello! Thank you for your very nice rating :) Glad to meet another Nirvana fan! :)
