Hello everyone! I'm finally back for the first time in seven years or so! I'm excited to find some penpals and swap buddies.

My name is Paige and in my thirties. Professionally, I’m involved in education and social services. I love being creative, spending time around animals, exploring and traveling. I plan on remaining child-free and cat-loving. I have a 16 year old orange tabby named Sunny. The last time I traveled was to Japan in 2019 and I plan on going back as soon as it’s safe. As a penpaller, I’m very open and happy to talk about anything. I’ve definitely had some interesting letters with penpals throughout the years.

I miss doing decos, so if you have any lying around, I'm your girl. (Be honest, are decos still a thing? What about slams and friendship books?) I am also looking to find some feminist-themed zines, so if you can point me toward some recently-made ones it would be appreciated.

TV: The Great, The Queen's Gambit, Mindhunter, Devs, Ozark, etc. I'm open to recommendations!

Music: This is a tricky one, as I haven't actively searched for new stuff in a while. I love Regina Spektor, Matt and Kim, and music that is generally...not sad. I like stuff that keeps me in a good mood. I am studying Japanese, so I also like to listen to songs that include a mixture of the languages as well. (Kero Kero Bonito, for example).

Characters: Some Sanrio (Gutetama, Rilakuma, Jinbesan, Aggretsuko, PompomPurin, Chococat, etc.) I love kawaii stuff in general. I like Pokemon (I'm most familiar with the original 150 but can appreciate any cute ones, lol). Animal Crossing! I love Molly, Anka, Skye, Whitney, Pekoe, Coco, Dobie, Tangy and more.

Cats! I have always loved them and collect cat-themed things like mugs, stickers, postcards, etc.

Games: Animal Crossing, PokemonGo, Harvest Moon and Rune Factory games are some of my favorites.

Tea: I drink tea every day. Chai is my favorite at the moment. I would love to sample anything you're willing to share :)

Plants! I took up gardening last summer and grew some tomatoes and basil. (I only have a small patio on my 2nd floor apartment so it's a little tricky). I also love my snake plants, pothos, pilea, and succulents-- when it's warm enough to keep them outside. I have a jerk of a cat who gets into indoor plants.

Candy! I love chocolate and those sweettart ropes. (This is not an exclusive list by any means)

Stationery: I love cute memo sheets, lettersets, stickers and washi. I would love to trade :) I also like planner stickers. I am mostly drawn to ones that say "work," "payday," and "bill due,” or less common stuff like “change cat litter.”

Random: I collect dolls as art supplies for assemblage pieces or as the actual canvas (faceups, when I’m confident enough). I’m actually at the point where I hoard more than I use but we all have that weird thing don’t we? I’m currently trying to learn to sew so I can clothe my naked Disney Animator dolls I found while thrifting. I also have a lot of Monster High and Ever After High. I love the look of Blythe and other BJDs.

Aesthetically, I like a broad range of colors and themes. I especially like mushrooms, cats, kawaii, hedgehogs, foxes, otters, crystals, greenery, pagan/witchy, strawberries, calligraphy, etc.
