I'm Katherine, 32, and I live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I work as a pharmacy technician, but I studied Spanish and Italian in university, and I have a fascination for those cultures.

In my spare time, I enjoy Irish dancing (which I've been doing for 14 years), reading, penpalling, travelling, watching tv and movies, walking my dog, listening to music, and genealogy on the internet.

My family background is English and Scottish, and I have a big interest in that part of the world too.

I love collecting postcards, teapots, stamps, and stationery. My favourite postcards are of castles, ancient ruins, dogs, horses, wolves, lighthouses, ethnic art and clothing, and anything to do with tea/teapots/teacups.

I love country music, Celtic music, pop, Latin, flamenco, and Irish dance music.

My favourite singers/bands are: U2, Enrique Iglesias, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins, Aine Minogue, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Akon, Pitbull, Wisin y Yandel, and so many more!

The Mists of Avalon, Sookie Stackhouse series, pretty much all the classics, biographies, anything to do with the Tudors or other medieval/renaissance British history, medieval Spanish history, and anything vampire!

Actually, I'll read pretty much any book you give me!

The Last of the Mohicans is my all-time favourite movie! Love it!!! Braveheart, Fried Green Tomatoes, all the Jane Austen movies, and amything historical

The Big Bang Theory, True Blood, Vampire Diaries, The Biggest Loser, Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Hockey Night in Canada.
