I walk past plants in the store and I hear them get a death rattle as go (gassssppp) lol. The bad thing is I feel sorry for the poor little plants at like Kmart that get no sun and very little water so I buy them. Only to bring them home and kill them more quickly. At least they out of their misery lol.
I love cats too lol. I have 4, one of which is a Bengal and a complete nut. She's running all over the house as I type lol.
I love to crochet but could never get the hang of knitting. I need someone to actually "show" me how to do it. Reading an instruction book doesn't cut it for me. Collage is one my favorite art forms, although I do most of them digitally, I'm starting to branch out into paper and glue. I like the messy fun of glue and tape and all that lol.

My name is Helen and I live in Southern Ireland, I live in a seaside town called Youghal, it is an historic walled town. I have always lived near the sea, I love it and find it relaxing, even on a stormy day I just love to hear the waves crashing on the rocks.
You mentioned that you are terrible at gardening and photography, that sounds like me too, but I am not a quitter lol and so live in hope that with practice I will improve. Your new jobs sound so much more rewarding than your previous one, however sometimes you need to do the stressful work to really appreciate the more simple things in life. I love crafts too, I particularly like collage and textile art, I do knit occasionally but wouldnt be the best at it, but I too love yarn I use it for embellishing work, my idea of the perfect day is to wander around a really good craft store which sells both fabric and yarns.... I don't need anymore stuff added to my stash but I can't seem to get past my addiction lol. I too like peanut butter but it has to be the crunchy variety, the smooth reminds me of something I won't mention online lol.
I also love purples, blues, greens, and pinks, and often incorporate those colours in my artwork.
We have quite a few different birds come into our garden as we live in the country, I love to watch them take a bath in the puddles in our drive way, we installed a stone bird bath, but the little blighters never use that and just keep using the puddles, it isn't doing much for the suspension on the car, but it gives you a great start to the day lol.
We also have a variety of wildlife here too, if I look out of the bedroom window in the early morning you can often see pheasants, foxes and hares in the field next to our house.
I don't watch a lot of tv but if I do I like a good thriller, and those home makeover programs or the Antiques Roadshow. I prefer to spend my time doing my arts and crafts or hanging out with friends.
I love to swim to so I often go early in the morning before going to work to set me up for the day. I also love going to food festivals and often buy the organic farm produce the homemade relishes and cheeses etc... Yum I am in pig heaven then.
Oh well it has been lovely reading your profile and getting to know a little bit about you. I hope I have given you a enough information for you to know a bit about me too.
