I've always liked to receive letters. And I also like the idea of random act of kindness. Swap-bot seems to be the connection of both things. :) These days I enjoy creating mail art like postcards.

Favorite Crafts

I try to do a lot of things. After a while I always have to try something new. Things I've done: Pocket Letters, Zentangling...

Latest interests are handmade postcards (never getting old), decorated envelopes and InkBox cards (7,6 x 7,6 cm).

  • Some sewing (mostly on paper these days)
  • Crocheting / Knitting (abandoned)

Alternative, Indie, Garage, a bit Folk, 50s Rock'n'Roll/Rockabilly...

To name a few (often changing): Temples, Kasabian, Katzenjammer, Florence + the Machine, Hot Boogie Chillun, Public Service Broadcasting, Wanda, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Måneskin...

And I would be glad if you could recommend me something.

I'm not a movie fan, instead I love TV Series even more!

big postage stamps with heads (for creating postage people) - collage material - black & white pictures (collage material) - fabric - handmade things - "consumable" things for crafting e.g. paper, vintage paper, washi, ephemera... everything that I could use for creating mail art (as I don't have enough space for dust traps :)) (or just ask)

I don't like

planner stickers - dogs - Disney - Emojis - something with vanilla or sweet fragrance - Manga - off-season Christmas (I'm starting slowly to care about one month before, at the earliest) also not overly excited about Halloween

Tea

Teas I love: green (plain or + herbs...) - white - herbal - with lemon and ginger - fresh tastes in general ... (no matter if it comes in bags or if it's loose- as long as it's sealed)

I'd like to try again: Four O'clock - Green tea with rose

Teas I don't like: all fruity or sweet teas (apple, hibiscus, rose hip, berries...) - vanilla - black tea - cinnamon - instand tea - honey - something with vanilla or sweet fragrance

I used tape on mine because we just moved and my sewing machine is still packed. I've never sewn on paper but after seeing your postcard envelope I will definitely be doing so in the future! Comment: Lovely to see my inkboxcard in this swap looks completely different. Your barcodes are that small, you can put a lot of them on 1 card. Thanks you so much for the Berlin items. I visited the city 8 years ago for the last time and met the Berliner Mauerweg. I did not have enough time then and only my 2 feet and public transport. Our daughter has plans to move over to Berlin because of her job, so maybe we can visit her and bike a part of the route.

Comment: Thanks for this beautiful piece, the extra envie and the beautiful collaged envelope. It has been a cool summer here. We rarely got above 50 degrees. I have tons of potatoes to dig up soon. I think people who are designing packaging are recognizing that crafters are reusing them and making them more user friendly to recycle into crafts. Yay! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry

Comment: Thanks for your postcards which arrived today. Like you, I tend to prefer a "less is more" approach, but you managed to combine a multiplicity of elements that worked together, within a color scheme.that tied them all together. I love the dude with the virtual reality goggles!
