Jan. 2016.....Hello! I'm in the process of updating my profile, just wanted to say Hi again and let everyone know that I'm back and ready to swap again. more later when I have time ..........; )

I have six adult children and 13 grands. When I look in mirror I see my Mother....sigh. My tastes in just about everything are a little eccentric. My son once told me that I wasn't happy unless I was living on the edge. ...... well, that was then, this is the new and improved older me. I hate the "edge". ; ) I'm letting my white/grey hair grow, so hair bobbles of any kind are appreciated. I think I'm a generous and caring person. If I say I'm going to do something , I do. I've always been surprised at people who don't keep their word. I'm a Christian, but I appreciate all Religions. I like to collect Asian Art stuff, Budda's are a favorite.

I like all kinds of music, but if I were pined down, I'd have to say I like Loreena Mckinnett and irish ballads, and I love Pavarotti. and living here in Georgia I kinda like country and western music......go figure!. (not a fan of head-banging, ear ringing, throw you in the mosh pit type of music; ) I do like Big Band Swing music from the 40's and 50's. Love New Orleans type jazz Mozart has helped me work through many a difficult time. I truly like music.....my art will sometimes refect what I'm listening to at the time.

I love to read, and I'm currently reading all of M.C,Beacons soft mystery novels set in the Highlands of Scotland. I also like to read historical novels. and any kind of Art book or magazine.

Oh, I just love movies! I don't watch much tv as I'm always watching movies. Some of my all time favs are ;"Trip To Bountiful", Steel Magnolias", "Strangers in Good Company", anything with Robin Williams or Forest Whitaker or Ossie Davies or Walter Mathau. Love Meryl Streep.

If I watch television it would be reruns of Monk, or "Dancing with the Stars" or "Golden Girls", I don't like real life , scarey television. ; )

Any kind of craft that has painting or glueing or writing involved is for me! I love doing collages and am always looking for different things to work my collages with. I'm doing ATC's and 4"X4" Chunky pages now. I think I like Chunky pages best as I can add alot of embellishments, like ribbon, yarn, STICKERS, stamping etc. I've started doing Dotee Dolls so small scraps of fabric and little doo dads for them will be greatly appreciated. I like to knit.....and I love decorating envelopes. I collect stickers and stamps from all over the world. I like making decorated envelopes and cards, almost all my cards have glitter somewhere ; ) (think I was "mag-pie" in another life, I JUST LOVE SPARKLY, GLITTERY, SHINEY THINGS!) small charms are a huge plus for me, I use them in my art and love finding different ones.

In swaps what I would love to receive is, stickers, stamps', unusual ribbon or trim, heavy rope like thread, images for collages from different countries, decorated envelopes, journal pages, atc's, atc blanks and sleeves, buttons that are flat, images of birds, butterflys and dragonflys.., images of cabbage roses.., vintange images of women.., glitter......I love the small stars glitter!! any kind of glitter!!.. glue sticks,.. asian images for collage.., old song sheets.., vinatage cards.., vintage childrens book..,........... greeting cards,.......... anything that has "vintage "....writing on it, from any country,.. ....like postcards or ledger pages or old letters..........that melts my heart! charms, old or new...handmade or not...cheap or inexpensive...........I love charms!!!!! my fav colors are , Blues, Browns, Creams, Pinks, Yellows, Corals, lime greens, and RED ....I guess I like all color....not too crazy about just black and white.....................I love dark chocolate, and if its a "tea " themed swap, I drink any kind of tea thats decaffinated. ..............My fav scent is lavender or roses.................. ....bits and pieces of fabric and felt for my dotee dolls ; )

what I don't need, 1.markers or gel pens 2.any collage images that are dark, gothic, or gory or sexual 3.yarn 4.cartoon type stickers 5.no text that is dark, gothic,or gory or sexual in content. 6. I don't need any pencils at this time or large pieces of blank paper......................I'm not a big fan of any kind of "cartoon type Asian art" I appreciate that type of art , but honestly I don't know much about it....don't need felt, or heartburn....(whoops , don't think you can swap that!) ; )
