First of all: I am an easy going swapper. I'm new here and have been reading through people's profiles and the forums, and it seems as though alot of folks take this really-freakin-serious. I'm here to have fun, create and share! I am not here to judge your art work, be demanding, picky or participate in any weird internet drama. I'm not a professional artist and I don't need you to be either. If you made it - i'll like it! There is nothing more exciting than recieving beautiful packages in the mail, and interesting little pieces of art from all over the world! I'd like to keep it simple as that.
Swaps are perfect for me, because while I am a craft and art addict, I can never seem to stay interested in any one medium for very long. Swaps provide a motivation and a reason to PLAY with all kinds of different mediums and ideas. It's perfect!
I am very reliable and absolutley will put a lot of thought, love and time into any swap I sign up for.
I live in midtown Sacramento, CA my love and our two kitties. I work full time in a pretty sterile corporate office which is why I strive to fill my life outside of work with creativity, color, and beauty. In our free time we enjoy gardening, road biking, camping, hiking, BBQ'ing with friends, both international and localized traveling, reading, board games, beers, garage sailing, music and concerts, and cooking.
Jambands, folk/old country, girls with guitars, great lyrics, motown: The Grateful Dead, Railroad Earth, Stevie Wonder, Janis Joplin, Old Crow Medicine Show,The Devil Makes Three, Ani Difranco, The Avett Brothers, The Be Good Tanyas, Wilco, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Jaymay, Mofro, Modest Mouse, Otis Redding, Paul Simon, Talking Heads, Zero 7, Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell etc...
Harold and Maude, Fight Club, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Notebook, Waking Life, The Labyrinth, Christmas Vacation and any light hearted, feel good comedy!
I love most anything that is hand made and from the heart. I’m very eclectic in my tastes. I am drawn to bright colors and bold lines and at the same time absolutely adore beautiful, delicate lines and soft, sparse colors. Mixed media is my favorite. I also love illustrations, watercolors, pen & ink, acrylics, collage and sharpie art. I could look at someone’s art journal for hours. I am obsessed with pretty packaging.
Texture, texture, texture!! I absolutely love texture. In all it’s forms. Every time.

Hi! I saw that you were trying to get into a swap but you couldn't because you were unrated even though you're an experienced swapper. I wanted to tell you that I'm fairly new to swap-bot and I'm finally starting to get ranked. But I noticed right away that there are a lot of snooty people here who are really bitter about their swap experience so therefore they make it really hard for a newcomers to get anywhere. Just wanted to say that I'm in the same boat! If you want to just swap something awesome, let me know! I'm on Instagram too: @creaturerooms =)
Welcome to swap-bot! Hope to see you in the swaps!
Welcome!
