Hej everyone!

Well, I don't really know what to write here. As you can see, I'm a newbie :). And very, very excited of what happens here. It looks very funny! I hope I don't make any faults, cause of something like "not yet knowing". So, please have a bit patients with me and tell me what's wrong, if necessary :).

Now it's time for something 'bout me: It's me - Mone - a 31 year old woman. I'm living in a small village in the Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. I work as a nurse; it’s a really exciting job! I love my dog, a Bernese mountain dog, called Ludwig and going out with him. But now he is to old for long walks. :(

I love postcards. No matter which kind: city cards, art cards, ad cards, handmade, unusual, wacky cards, the weirder the better!

Some things I like:

• music, playing the guitar, piano, singing (alone and with the band www.sixtysix-weiden.de)

• going to concerts

• Melissa Etheridge, Angelo Kelly, Werner Schmidbauer, Patricia Kelly, Maite Kelly, John Kelly and Maite Itoiz, Kathy Kelly, Kelly Family, Texas Lightning, Jane Comerford, Wir sind Helden, Rosenstolz, Amanda Marshall, Razorlight, Lenka, Marit Larsen… a.s.o.

• I also love listening to "Hörspiele" ("radio dramas" I think in english). I prefer: The Three Investigators, Point Whitmark and few more.

• I also love listening to audiobooks

• Loriot

• TV-Series like Simpsons, Monk, X-Files, Dittsche, Star Trek TNG- Simpsons, Monk, Star Trek – The next Generation, X-Files

• reading (Andreas Franz, Jiliane Hofmann, Stephen King…) – nothing schmaltzy!!! ;) I've bought an ebook-reader few weeks ago - fantastic invention

• Denmark, Ireland, Paris, Berlin, Cologne…

• meerkats, penguins, dogs (Bernese Mountain dogs!!!), donkeys, monkeys...

• Disney (Mickey, Donald & Co.)

• nice places, views and buildings

If it comes to card swaps, I would like the cards dated and maybe you can write the temperature on it? Thanks so much!

Well, I would like to try something different... I love postcards very well, but mostly I love them on my disk. :D Therefore it would be very nice if you send me the card as a scan (very nice would be 300dpi ;)) - not with mail. Are there people out there who would also like to try this out? Please write me! Well, I don't know, if it's a stupid idea. But I really like it... So... If you also like the idea - tell me! If you've got any questions - feel free asking me ;) I'm also searching for a penpal, who also likes swapping postcards and things, not only letters :) - Don't be shy!
