Hi, My name is Sugarfawn. I am an art college graduate (Fibers major, ceramics and sculpture minor), now living in the Pacific North West. I am an artist and also crafter. I'm 36 years old. Recently engaged to my best friend. I am from the mid-west originally. I have two dogs (Basset and Brussels) and I also have a chinchilla. I like taking care of plants and my animals, It fills my love tank. Currently I'm obsessed with graph paper. I love to go thrift shopping. I Like to re-purpose items that need a new life;) i like to document things, like events and fun times. I keep a creative journal that i fill with nice pictures, drawings and a story about my day. I really enjoy travel, and adventure.

I love sending and receiving happy mail and letters. to me there is something so exciting about getting happy mail in my post box. I read Profiles carefully. It makes me happy to put together packages of little things that I think you might like. It just brings me joy. I appreciate good quality items, and I Send Good quality items. Anything plant or animal or earthy theme related is my jam. My favorite animals are ALL of them, but I lalalaLove Basset Hounds. Anything forest, ocean, or mountain themed. I love stationary, STICKERS, good quality washi tapes, paper crafting. I like notebooks and booklets a lot. anything travelers notebook or planner related. Anything Kawaii, cute. ...and I can't ever have enough pens. My favorite colors range from jewel tones to pastels, but I'm seriously digging PURPLE of any shade right now. I love long letters and getting to know interesting people. I read profiles. DISLIKES: Children's stickers (Kawaii is fine!). plastic washi tapes, Ink pens (gel ink please), Disney themes, lazy swappers. buttons, glitter, foods (love tea though). That's just a little about me! I hope we can soon be pals:)

My favorite projects include paper crafting. I love patterned papers and adhesives.

My hobby is interior design, so I'm obsessed with creating a theme and creating cozy places that reflect my personality. I am CONSTANTLY switching things up and in and out. I get bored with my surroundings and I'm a perfectionist so when I get an idea I'm pretty committed until the room is, as it is in my head. The principles of design come naturally to me, and I apply them to nearly everything I do .I have been part of the planning community since 2015. I have too many planners and I know it, but I'm always open to more. I also hoard stickers, and planning videos are my porn. Occasionally I dumpster dive (Large item trash pick up days) for items of inspiration. Whether it's a piece of furniture, an old piece of wood, or a ladder, I'll give it a new life. Any time I am in a big city, I find their Good Will Outlet. This place is actually what I like to call: "Glorified Dumpster Diving". LIFE GOAL: I am working on starting an online store, selling vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories. Also lightly used or brand new items. So, thrifting is essential to my work I suppose. Tons of people just don't know what they have and they toss it, and I'm basically relying on those people to provide me with an inventory:). A lot of it is the right place right time sort of thing, but most of it is knowing what to look for and searching darn hard for it.It's the thrill of the hunt! Also... I can spot a vintage fabric from 100 yards away! I love thrifting so much and I think it's basically my reason for living, so starting a business just made sense:)

I absolutely love to write. Words are everything to me. I love the art of poetry and sonnet. I write my own poetry occasionally. Writing haiku is a thing I like to do, often. I like to write anything that evokes emotion. I love the romanticism of hand written correspondence. It's personal, thoughtful, and it makes me smile. I know it makes MY day, so I always hope it brings the recipient joy as well. Putting together Happy Mail is another one of those things that I am loving. I love putting in the thought, time and care considering the person.

I am just an analog girl in a digital world, while my fiance is a graphic artist. I think we kind of balance each other out in a way. He claims to love my analog ways, and if it weren't for him I'd be completely out of touch with some things. Lol:)

I live in the Pacific North West, and I am surrounded by water (the Sound) and mountains. I go for nature walks often, and I take photos of anything that is attractive to me. We see whales and seals almost daily. NO photo can do any justice to the forests, mountains and the sunsets. When I get back from my walk I print out the pictures I took and I stick them in my art journal and I write a little bit about my day. The smell of the sea water in the morning completely grounds me everyday. It reminds me of a time when living here was merely a dream. Now I'm living it, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be and I thank the Universe everyday. I can go down to the water and look for the "best" rock, or take a nature walk while being accompanied by a few crows. I connect with the earth well here and It provides a balance in my life somehow, that I wasn't able to attain in any other place I have lived. Having been a fibers major in college, I like to dabble in hand embroidery, screen printing, crochet, and I dye my own fabrics a lot of the time. I grew up loving Little House on the Prairie (I've been to Laura Engles Wilder's homestead {if anyone cares lol}) And Anne of Green Gables (the Canadian PBS version). If I could live like a pioneer I would. Give me a wood burning stove, and a cabin in the woods and I'm a happy clam.

I really like to people watch. I find people interesting. I think it helps me be a more empathetic and a less judgmental human being. We're all just going through life together, doing our best. I try to be a good human, learn lessons from life and try to get better everyday :) I am very existential (to a fault).

I've been known to be a natural MacGyver. I'm a thinker, brainstormer, and a problem solver. I enjoy documentaries on physics and quantum physics, the universe and outer space (scientific fact based) type stuff. I don't know why. I'm just intrigued.

Conspiracies. Although I don't adopt any theories, or believe in any one thing. I think conspiracy theorists are fascinating. I could listen to them talk for hours.
