I'm a 30-something crafty gal who lives with her hubby and large housecat in a split-level that can never stay clean.

I love to create/craft things (mostly sewing, crocheting, and ATC-ing), read, write, play computer games (love the Sims) and surf/shop on the web, and spend time with my husband. We like to travel when we can, especially to beaches. I love the ocean and hope to live much closer to it one day.

I tend to put a lot into my swaps. I always check profiles, so I seldom put together swaps until partners are assigned - I like creating things especially for the people they are going to. I always send, and put in in the box on time, so if you are expecting something from me and it hasn't shown up please let me know. I don't exactly trust the postal service - they've tossed my mail into the snow more than once!

I like a lot of different music. From Journey and Def Leppard, to Evanescence and Linkin Park, and Katy Perry and Lily Allen. I love Ludo and Enigma, and most people haven't even heard of them. I also enjoy Enya and Jim Brickman. Basically I don't like heavy metal, country, or rap, but I'll give most anything else a try.

I LOVE the classics. Shakespeare, Dickens, the Bronte sisters, Sir Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, and so on and so forth. I loved Grapes of Wrath, but hated Of Mice and Men. A Farewell to Arms is one of my favorites, but I can't stand The Old Man and the Sea.

When it comes to newer works, well... I love them, too. I'm quite fond of Stephen King, though I usually don't go for sci fi. My husband and I love The Lord of the Rings. The Book Thief is great, The Help is great, Fried Green Tomatoes is great, I could go on and on.

It may seem silly, but I love Casper. I'll never be too old for that friendly ghost. The Addams Family and The Others are of a similar theme. I also love Ever After, The Phantom of the Opera, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Dirty Dancing, Robin Hood (with Kevin Costner, and also the animated Disney one)... And I love Patch Adams, Catch Me If You Can, and just about any other movie with Robin Williams or Leonardo Dicaprio. Robin was a comic genius (may he rest in peace) and Leo is so talented - not to mention adorable.

I love comedies, such as Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory. I also like Downton Abbey, Lost, Fringe, and of course Game of Thrones. My hubby and I enjoy perusing Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and HBO way too much. If you come across a great series on one of these platforms, let me know!

I love to sew and crochet, as well as other misc. crafts, and I do so whenever I can. I've worked in bridal before, and I do bridal alterations at home - everything from simple hems to total gown reconstruction. I usually sew clothing, but I make all sorts of things with crochet. I like to crochet while watching TV with my husband and I can take it with me when we go on trips.

I learned about ACTs through Swap-Bot and got hooked. Now I have a use for all the random items I hold onto. =0)

I tend to collect in themes. I love the sky, the moon, stars, and rainbows. I love strawberries and wizards. And I love to collect snowflake ornaments. All snowflakes are unique, so therefore all my ornaments are different. I've also been collecting thimbles when we travel, but they can be hard to find. I'd love a thimble from your neck of the woods!

I've been collecting fabrics for a few quilts I want to eventually make (though I am terrible at them). So I'd love to do swaps for them. These fabrics are: - strawberries - snowflakes - moon/stars/night sky (especially sparkly fabrics)

In general I like cute and colorful, classic and feminine, or funny/sarcastic.

• jewelry - I prefer silver and rose gold (my ears are pierced)

• cross stitch kits
• address labels (we've had such bad luck with color printers!)
• stickers
• stationary
• cocoa
• teas (I'm new to them but have been trying)
• dark chocolate

I'm not too picky, not easily offended, and can always send things on to someone else, but these are some things I'm not a fan of:

• bugs (except for butterflies)
• sports
• religious items
• sour candy/food

I've got a some fun toys for cutting out images and embroidery if you'd like to do swaps or trades for cutouts or embroidered items.
