kindergarten teacher by day, kitchen creature at heart. i love chitchatting on the phone with my galpals. im a vegetarian, but picky with the vegetables that i actually eat (squash hater... except for jackolanterns of course!). tried going back to fish last year but i dont think im liking it anymore. i'm all about the freshness of farmer's market produce. i strongly believe in the seasonality of food. my flavor profile is sweet and spicy. i love kneading dough and i look forward to winter time so i can make crusty bread again (try cracking ur oven to 500 degrees on a summer's day in the valley & u'll know why me making cupcakes on a summer's day means my bf loves me). my backyard vegetable garden makes me happy and forces me to go to the grocery less. now if only i have a cow, i'd prolly be a cheesemaker! whenever i feel upset or having a sensitive moment, i let my mixer speak.

i love backpacking and hiking. i'd go back to dragonboating in a heartbeat... if only i live closer to the beach!
