Single, cat-loving, Domino-addicted swimmer. I love pretty stuff, modern and antique, new and used, I love it all. And books, waaay too many books; including baking/pastry books - I read 'em like novels; and travelogues - I'm so there, vicariously biking through South America or learning to herd sheep in Scotland or baking the perfect tarte tatin in France. I love to travel, but my passport hasn't seen much action lately; responsibilities - what a drag, but a girl's gotta eat and, overall, I'm living a pretty damned good life

Love late 80's/early 90's Tears for Fears & U2 but enjoy pretty much everything (yes, including classical) except country and hiphop/rap - I'm getting old.

Recently: The Devil Wears Prada - fluffy fun w/beautiful clothes and accessories; Oldie: Hunt for Red October (sooo not a girlie movie and I have no idea why I love it, but I do; well, I guess it could be 'coz I think Scott Glenn's hot in that movie.)

Project Runway, Lost, Invasion and, my seldom confessed guilty pleasure, The Girls Next Door (yep, the reality show of life at the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner and his three bodacious and very blond girlfriends - it's just completely bizarre - love it)

Sadly unskilled in any crafts; used to quilt but lost the urge some years ago. There's hope though, 'coz I've been reading fabulously inspiring blogs like Decor8, Design*Sponge, A Bird in the Hand, Just my Cup of Tea and Little Birds and am now really psyched to start work on some fun projects and home decor stuff (NOT quilts). I just bought a new sewing machine (love Ebay) and have been ordering fabric like crazy. Apartment redo, coming up.
