I'm a supermarket associate. After a day filled with customer service I like to mess around with beads, drawing, calligraphy, collage, digital collage, and other papercrafts. I have a fondness for coffee (and coffee shops), chocolate, movies, Trip Hop (Electronica), roaring fires and especially books. However I don't burn books! Check out some of my library. I live in a small town so to make my life a little bigger I live through my computer too. Consequently I like to dabble in web design.
Ambient, Classical, Downtempo, Electronica, Gregorian Chant, Jazz, New Age, Progressive Rock, Standards, Trip Hop. When at the computer I mostly listen to Starstreams, and other stations, through Live 365. I can't tolerate commercial radio. The only thing a radio is good for anymore is my local public radio station.
Groundhog Day, Pretty Woman, The Secret, Somewhere in Time, The Terminator. Those are some just off the top of my head. I really like twisty plots and time travel movies. I love classic movies too, Film Noir to Screwball Comedies. Live Actors: Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Gene Hackman. Dead Actors: Humphrey Bogart, Fred Astaire, Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn.
Sopranos, The Wire. Shows on cable mostly, I really don't like much on commercial TV. It's too broken up by, well, commercials and the plots are so gimmicky. Reality TV is contrived. I recently let my subscription to TV Guide expire. Personally I think shows pay to get in the magazine. Am I jaded? Yes! Old Shows: The Avengers, Farscape, La Femme Nikita, Fawlty Towers, Highlander, Jeeves and Wooster, the Prisoner. Thank The Universe for Netflix!
I'm into: Altered Altoid Tins & Books & Matchboxes, ATCs, Beads, Calligraphy, Collage, Crochet, Digital Collage, Drawing, Glue Books, Handmade Books, Journaling, Mixed Media, Papercrafts, Polymer Clay, Sketch Journals, Soul Collage, Sketching, and Tiny Things (if I said Miniatures you'd probably think only of dollhouse furniture). As far as style goes I'm on the dark side. I'm not as extreme as Goth even though I love Victorian stuff that was influenced by Medieval style. So if you find me doing anything cute just shoot me! ;) Ack! Smilie faces are cute!
