I grew up on a farm in the Kalahari desert, South Africa, before moving to Cape Town. Now, I've been living in London for almost 6 years. At present, I'm learning to love being a new mum while still allowing myself time to express myself creatively. Our beautiful son was born in August 2006. Some of my favorite things include swimming in the ocean, the smell of earth after rain and a good cup of coffee.

At the moment, Coco Rosie and Au Revoire Simone, but a bit of everything really. Except Country. I can often be found dancing around to Jack Johnson with my son in my arms.

I'm watching Grey's Anatomy at the moment. In general I just skip through channels...very annoying, I know. I'm also a sucker for Project Runway and cooking shows.

I love sewing, knitting, sketching and photography. There tend to be a multitude of WIPs on my desk at any given time, most of which I'll never get around to finishing.
