While My Babies Were Sleeping is the genius idea of a funky stay-at-home mama. Kristal Molina is a local artist/mama creating one of a kind jewelry as a way to express her creative powers and avoid doing the dishes. After having two kids she needed to find time for herself and her passion for art. Starting with local craft shows her pendants have become quite the talk of the town. She has been featured in art shows and lounges throughout San Diego.

The jewelry is eclectic with the use of found art images including left over toys that dangle from her hand crafted earrings. She is constantly looking for new ways to use beads, vintage gems, and stones in a non-conventional means of beauty and fashion. The glass pendants are collaged, and then metal is melted around the edges of hand cut glass, creating a wearable piece of art.
