I'm a postgraduate student from Queensland, Australia who is approaching the age of 30 far too rapidly.

I collect unusual materials, particularly if they involve some neat science, e.g. products that change colour when exposed to UV or changes in temperature.

My preferred colours are blues, greys, purples and "pure" greens (i.e. not too yellow, and not too blue), but depending on the situation, most colours are fine by me. I do tend to prefer strong/bright colours to pastels. I like shiny things and would pick silver over gold any day.

Embroidery (mainly cross stitch), a little beading, a little knitting, a little papercrafting, a little of anything that's hands-on and lets me make a mess. :)
