A full time working mama, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, granddaughter, godmother (2x!), and blessed by God's grace everyday.
I am extremely sentimental and really appreciate by gone eras. My absolute favorite era is the 1930's and 1940's. The wholesomeness of life in America depicted in most everything from movies to music during that time is precious to me. Times were tough, but people were hard-working and honest. I also deeply respect my grandparents and have a traditional love for bluegrass music and southern (U.S) culture passed down from them.
LOVE: The color Orange... paired with sunset hues (red/yellow), or nature hues (brown/green) My favorite color combo is Aqua and Chocolate Brown. I adore butterflies, flowers, and fairies. I am a coffee/iced tea/hot tea girl. I like my coffee strong, my iced tea sweet, and my hot tea caffinated or mint, although I've been known to cozy up to a vanilla chamomile once in a while.
COULD LIVE WITHOUT: Pink, and cilantro(yuck!)
(Big Band-anything from the 30's & 40's), Billie Holiday, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Frank Sinatra, (Bluegrass) Ralph Stanley, Biscuit Burners, Allison Krauss, Alecia Nugent, Cherryholmes, Lonesome Standard Time. Also like Natalie Grant, Switchfoot, Lifehouse, and Casting Crowns.
Alice Adams, Adam's Rib, Dial "M" for Murder, Amazing Grace, Holiday Inn, The Aviator, Walk the Line, Coal Miner's Daughter. (Anything that tells a story about justice, love and hope)
Enjoying Everyday Life, What not to wear, Clean sweep, Clean House, Scrapbooking, Craft Lab, I Love Lucy, The Grand ole opry.
Scrapbooking, Heritage Rug Hooking, Gallery Glass (because I have always loved stain glass- I just have not invested in materials, classes and space yet: Gallery Glass lets me cheat) jewelry making, poetry, cooking and gardening.
