I am a mother of 2 children (3 yr. old boy and 6 yr old girl) and a 13 yr old step-daughter. I have lived in Canada for 10 years now - I met my husband here and decided to leave my family in Scotland for the Canadian life, which I love!! I enjoy spending time with my kids and husband, cooking and baking, trying my hand at new crafts, travelling whenever possible and learning new things.

I like things simple and try to live a simple life. Right now I'm into homemade - and trying to make as much stuff myself as possible. I like thrift stores and garage sales and finding a good bargain! My colours are purple, blue and black - although not too picky as I like most colours. Just not too bright. My favourite fabric right now is white background with black pattern - such as flowers, Chinese picture, etc.

I like to make and receive gifts that are useful and can be used. I do not make soap so would love to receive some!

I like all kinds of music, although don't listen to as much as I would like to. Some of my favourites are Sarah McLauchlan and Crowded House.

I really like to read, but don't really have a farvourite - whatever catches my eye at the time - craft magazines, cookery books, autiobiographies.

I like to watch movies with my husband after the kids are tucked in (he watches the "chick flicks" with me and actually enjoys them - sometimes more than me!!). Our favourite is Notting Hill, but I like to watch comedies, romantics, drama and some horror.

Don't watch too much TV, never have time! But when I do I like Grey's Anatomy, House, Desparate Housewives.

I have enjoyed crafting for a long time. I am trying embroidery and sewing right now. I also like to make cards and I have tried quilling, 3-D paper toling, scrapbooking, jewellery making.

I enjoy food - making it and eating it! I like to cook and bake for my family and also trying to make the recipes a little healthier. I like pastas, soups, salads, pizza. I also enjoy my cup of coffee or tea (regular or herbal - not so much green as I have received alot of it), which is even better with a friend. I like to bake my own goodies and desserts - my son is turning into an avid cookie baker and wants to bake everyday! I also enjoy anything minty!

My daughter Zoe is 6 years old and is a girly girl. She loves her "babies" and dollies, colouring, making cards with her mom, basically anything crafty, puzzles, stickers, hair stuff and glittery nail polish. She is into the usual - Barbie, Princesses, Strawberry Shortcake. Likes most colours, but when asked her favourites she says purple, pink, black and dark blue.

My son is 3 years old and is a typical boy! Loves trucks, cars, books, puzzles, colouring and baking cookies with his mom. His favourite colours are blue, green and red - but he is not too picky!!!

I would be happy to receive any fabric, zippers, thread, etc as a have started a sewing phase! I also love purses and change purses, stationery, notelets, lip balm, tea, coffee, hot chocolate mixes.
