My name is Helene and I am nemophilist living on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

I am keen to swap handmade postcards, artist trading cards, artist trading coins, 3x3s, inchies, twinchies, flipbooks, folders, pockets and other themed paper crafts and collages."

I love rich, opulent colours and metallics. I use a lot of gelli printing in crafts and I love making layered mixed media projects of all kinds, but particularly if there is an added theme or creative challenge.

June 2024 - I've been getting random packages and envelopes back from the United States postal system with stickers that say that my packages are not conforming to US postal service requirements including mail is from Canada to countries outside of the United States. I've brought these returned packages to my local post office and the Canadian postal workers I speak with are equally confused. This has sucked. I wish there was a way to keep Canadian sent International mail out of the US postal service, but it seems impossible.

I have decided to continue to swap through the summer. If I continue to have trouble with mail, I will take a break from swapping until we get through the 2024 US presidential election and I'll try again (I think this is part of the current USA postal issue, but I might be wrong).

Please send me a message if you don't get a package or you have issue with something I've sent. I would like a chance to resend or make it right before receiving a poor rating. And PLEASE don't tell someone that thier handmade paper crafts were thrown in the garbage 😥. Have a little respect and put it in the recycling bin at least!

I would very much prefer to receive a partially destroyed or water damaged package than an envelope completely covered in packing tape. I can reuse the paper easier without the tape too. Thank you!
