Comment:
Mr. Hill was an odd teacher to encourage you to skip regular classes and do his work in art only. I can not imagine such a HS teacher. Does he teach in Korea?
Response: Yeah, looking back it does seem odd. No, I don't think he teaches anymore.
Comment: Amazing!!! I love how you put this together and I like all the pictures. The skeletons in the closet page spread is super fun. Thank you for a great journal.
Comment: Thanks for your pretty sunflower letter. I understand your experience - for me it's hard to get them in if I don't do them first thing - I just get on with my day and it doesn't happen, or happen the same way. It is hard to get used to writing whatever comes up, or filler things. I write a lot of Okay and So and Yeah. I've done them on and off for more than 10 years, and first did them while doing The Artists Way - I think it's easier to start that way, because it's part of an overall framework, if that makes sense. Anyway, good on you for giving it a try - not everything is a good fit for everyone at all times. Happy Day to you!
Comment: Sounds like a fun day! I've never visited the escape room but I did hear good stories about it. The path crosses NL from North to South but I've only walked a few miles in my area :) Thanks for your fun email!
Comment: Amsterdam is just 20 minutes away from me. So no, it is not that far. The Kemphaan is a nice place, if you love nature. Over there is like a little zoo, it would be nice to visit that place as well.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! It has been pretty warm here but nothing like what you have been experiencing. Hopefully you have central air! Happy swapping! 🙂
Comment: Thank you for the Lahaina postcard! When I saw the card, I was in shock. My husband and I honeymooned in Maui this June. We spent a couple days in Lahaina and absolutely loved it there! I have been so heartbroken for the people of Lahaina. Have you been there yourself? I am hopeful the tree will be able to be restored. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you! Hope the whether is getting cooler! Here it's summer all year with temp 85-95 with lots of rain. Thank god for air-conditioning! Lol! Take care! Xo nadi
Comment: You dud an awesome job on your zine!!! I enjoyed reading about the pie especially. What a sweet story. These zines are a fun way to document some personal history. I hope you join us for future rounds!!!
Comment: That envelope was so pretty! I am so sorry that happened! Yeah, your then boyfriend had his own demons as we all do. But the fact his friend would lie to you out of jealousy (did he have an interest in you?) that he did something so awful is unbelievable to me. I thought guys always had their bros' backs! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Thank you very much for all the True Crimes in Brazil that you wrote about. The stories were all very interesting and am happy to see that most were found guilty and punished while some others met their fate be getting killed themselves! Oh I must mention that the homemade envelope is so cool!! Did you also color it? I love it.
Comment: Thanks for the swap and your nice letter.
I've ridden a lot of different things but not in as many neat places as you have been. I sat in a park with a frightened young lady - probably 10 or 11 - for an hour once, until her parents found her. IUt was in New York City though, not Italy, so it wasn't you.
You wrote that you would like to see mine. If you message me your email address I will send it to you. I would message it but it is lengthy... like most things I write.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful cards and stickers! I can't wait to use everything. This is my first swap and it was awesome because of you!
Comment: Hey!! I just dropped a letter in the mail to you a couple days ago! :) Love your list. I visited Hawaii a couple times as a kid, and would love to go back. Japan, Canada, Ireland, and Australia are definitely on the list too. I wish some of the travel advisories for Americans would ease up. :/
Comment: Beautiful postcard! I love daisies. Yes,it's hot here. I work in deli(luncheon meat) but help in the kitchen. Whew boy do I sweat! Then I walk into freezer!!LOL Happy Summer and thank you.
Comment: Hello, thanks so much for the ugly washi tape cards. I made mine and once I finished I realized they weren't so ugly. LOL The same goes for the cards you made, they're really pretty! Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for sharing! And I agree! Those poor kids in the hot weather! I used to work in childcare and if it was a certain temperature/humidity outside, we could not let the kiddos outside since it was too hot!
Comment: Thanks so much for your colorful notecard! :) My goodness that's hot! I couldn't stand it, though I have lived in places that were that hot- or hotter. :(
Comment: Hi and thanks so much for the very nice notecard and account of your week! I hope you are doing better, that all is good. Great to organize, isn't it??? Happy Swaps to you and I love the USA stickers !!! Thank you
Comment: I just today got your aswers and then I saw that I rated you earlier -- but that was wrong (wrong person/wrong questions) I'm not sure what swap it was for. Anyway, thank you -- and I envy your very readable printing. .
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely letter. If you like true crime, you'd love to talk to me... I did sanity, psychological, and intelligence testing on all the military murderers in the entire European Theatre when I was in the Army from 1978-1981. The stories I could tell !!! Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for sharing three things you are thankful for! And the fun stickers! I will pray for your health! You are blessed to have 3 lovely daughters and support dogs❤️. I have a pit mix dog we rescued Jolene she’s a sweet heart! God bless you
Comment: A wonderful fact! 🐾 Pitbulls are just big babies and I love them so much! 💜 Thank you for this adorable PC! No big plans for the summer, here. Just avoiding the heat, as I'm sure you are as well, haha~
Comment: Hi Christina, Greetings from the south of you. Wow, it is HOT! Thank you for the swap. You got me some great goodies. Thank you so much!!! Be careful in this heat. Hugs, Cindy
Comment: I hope you and your daughter feel better.
See if you can get Singulair for her, it doesn't prevent an asthma attack but it can lessen the times she has them.
Comment: Hi Christina - thank you for your list! I like Bake Off and Supernatural - I've been looking at the trailer for Jewish Matchmaking and was curious about it but haven't tried it yet.
Take care, Deb
Comment: Thank you EXTRA so much!!! You are so sweet to resend so quickly. I LOVE the tapes you sent, thank you!! The birds are awesome and I especially love the journal/watercolor items Washi!!! Do you remember where you got it?
Comment: As a Christie, I can sympathize on the name thing! I answer to everything that sounds remotely like my name because people get it wrong so often😂
Comment: Hi Christina! Happy Belated Birthday! Sounds like it made for a wonderful weekend, with lots of love shining through for your special day! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Happy Biirthday! Yes, I know that brightened your week!! Did you have fun? Hope you got all you wished for. Love the cute stickers. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard (I love the rounded edges)! I agree with you about the multiple lives. I think our strong affinity for certain things or snips of memories we can't place are all connected to those different lives. For my part, I just want to come back as someone with better eyebrows. ;) Thank you again!
Comment: Thank you so much for your envelope full of goodies :D The card with the bunny is especially adorable! I also love the simple, but cute polka dots washi tape!
Comment: The stationary you used is Adorable, and your handwriting is gorgeous ♥ You sound like you've lead such a fascinating life, and like you have a wonderful family. Thank you for sharing with me, I really enjoyed reading your letter!
