Response: So glad you enjoyed it. Hoping the typo copy didn't distract you too badly. (Read comment below.) Augh. The dreaded "life gets in the way of art". I found I wrote about those struggles when the kids were little, I was inspired by Robyn Sarah and Margaret Atwood. Two great Canadian poets, Maternal Femenism at its best. Happy writing!
Response: Thank you. One of you ended up with the typo copy, only realized well after it was sent! Glad you enjoyed it despite them, if it was you. Thank you for your enthusiasm and kind rating. 💛💛
Response: Thank you... ☺ï¸
Response: Tomoe River. I may have gotten a few people hooked on it! Haha!
Response: Me too! See you in the post. â¤ï¸
Response: Most welcome. Thank you for joining and for the rating! â¤
Response: Nerds unite! I am looking forward to your letter. 📬
Response: Cape Split! Some of the best (smoothest) stones are found on a beach close by. I picked wild mushrooms on the way to Cape Split and then had to be careful not to crush them the entire way back. Sigh! Thank you for your rating! ðŸ„
Response: Glad you enjoyed it. Any opportunity to send mail to a fellow "cat lady"! Thank you for your rating. 😊
Response: Wow, when Canada Post wants to, things move fast! I love that notecard too, that's why I couldn't bring myself to write in it. So pleased you enjoyed it all. See you in the post!
Response: So glad you feel spoiled! I enjoyed putting it together, call it celebrating another "bit" collector. So jealous about Europe but looking forward to hearing about it and all the treasures you bring back!
Response: I am so glad this one made it to you. Thank you for your patience! And let me add, the wine was delishious. ;)
Response: Welcome! I am so pleased you liked it! I was so mad at Canada Post for making me stick so many stamps on the envelope! Thanks for your generous rating. See you in the post!
Response: Hello! The paper is Tomoe River, I purchased it from a shop in Toronto but I know you can buy it in the US. Just Google it! You are most welcome for the extras... thank you for rating. :)
Response: I was starting to worry! Glad it arrived and that you enjoyed it. I really liked the cover of that one.
Response: Welcome. Thank you for the generous rating.
Response: Welcome! A couple of the photos turned out ok. Have you seen the one with the Hulk peeing on the side of a building with his other superhero buddies? So funny!
Response: You are most welcome! Thank you for your lovely rating. Happy creating!
Response: Augh! Slugs! I found an non toxic slug and snail bait and have used it despite my hippy karmic reservations. I am glad you enjoyed the post! I thought it was funny how I got to send to you twice! The trick with the dressing really is to fiddle with the taste until you get what you like! Thanks for the rating!
Response: That's wonderful and totally the point! You are most welcome. :)
Response: Most welcome. Looking forward to it! Thank you for your rating. :)
Response: Most welcome! I love the super old, smaller postcards. Mine are beat up too and I always hesitate to send. I can't believe they are no longer teaching cursive in school. Thank you for the generous rating.

Response: So glad! Looking forward to your letter.... Thank you for the rating and for the heart. ;)
Response: Most welcome. What did you think of the poem? Did you like the tea? I know it's loose but I hoped you felt you could trust David's sealed package..... I ran around at the last minute finding you some things from your wish list. After writing the letter I couldn't just send what I had, it would have been a let down to open.
Response: Yay! So glad it arrived and you felt spoiled. That just makes my day! I hope you write lots of fun letters with the paper. And yes, if you want to make one destined for the West Coast I would welcome it (and write back). See you in the post. :)
Response: Most welcome. So glad you liked the letter. What an interesting swap idea, huh? Thank you for the generous rating.
Response: You are most welcome! And thank you for the elusive heart for a postcard swap. :)
Response: That's why I picked it for you!
Response: So glad you liked everything. I thought you would be able to use the things I sent... I have just tracked down a source for gold edged labels (not sure if I sent those or the blue to you) and am thrilled about not having to be so selective. I sometimes have a hard time sourcing things I like, as you know. Just on a side note, I ingratiated myself to the local barista who is going to Korea for three months. I am hoping to get some interesting bits! The paper is Onionskin by Hilroy. Hardly exotic as you can buy it at Staples. I searched and searched for it only to find it there... funny. You can find the labels there as well.... I ordered from Monks as they are a local company but in a pinch Staples will do quite nicely. Do you have good templates for your envelopes? If you want a variety, let me know and I will send a few your way. OOOooH! Or I could set up another swap! Thanks for joining the swap and for your rating. G.
Response: I look forward to it! I am really curious how your wedding is shaping up. I realized that your "theme" was more "batman" then just yellow... I ended up running with it and enjoyed putting it together. After it was sent I found a yellow floppy disk label and was all, "AUUUUUUGHHH!!!" Next time. :) Thanks for joining us and for your rating. See you in the mail!
Response: Ah, DITO! It's funny what I manage to gather up, orange is not my favourite colour.... instead I go for the red and teal. I have lots of orange to share! I really look forward to your letter and will be watching for it. I am heading up Island tomorrow and will be stopping in at a couple of my frequented thrift shops.... wish me luck! Thank you for participating and for the heart. (PS. Your letter had me laughing the entire way through it. I can SOOOOO relate.)
Response: Hello Kats! Got it, as you already know. It was so great to hear from you and I look forward to the "filling in the blanks". So glad you like your "bits". I do feel a little guilty for rubbing your nose in how gorgeous it's been here. The photos from the the East coast are UNBELIEVABLE. I hope you and your neighbours are taking good care of one another. Thanks for participating and the heart, see you in the post!
Response: I beat that ol stinking flu! When I went to post my letter I was a little shy about showing it off to the Canada Post ladies. I always ask for my mail to be "hand sorted" and it means that somewhere along the way real people touch my mail, not just machines. These ladies thought I was being silly, saying "We all have them!" One went so far as to say, "They just don't look like that anymore!" We all had a giggle. I LOVE small town post offices! Glad you liked what I sent and the breast envelope ever. The letter was an interesting exercise and I will definitely join in for another one. Thanks for hosting! And thank you for the review and the heart! See you in the post.....
Response: Ireland for St.Patty's?! Sooooo jealous! Glad you liked what I sent and thank you for your lovely rating. I look forward to the next time we cross swap paths. :)
Response: Helloooo. I know you rated me in December for this swap but I was taking a little break. I often feel disappointed when people don't respond to my comments on a rating so just wanted to say "Thank you!" and for the heart. I had a fun time putting it all together and am glad you noticed! Take care.... :)
Response: Glad you enjoyed it! And just so you don't think I am totally strange for sending a sticker of a goat pooping, it's the logo of a well known tourist spot here on the Island. The Coombs Market has been there since I was a kid, first as a fruit stand and now as a huge tourist trap. I still love the soap and cheap journals from China. Check it out online. The hanging lanterns are cool too. Thank you for the rating!
Response: Glad you enjoyed it. I am surprised how little time it took to get to you!
Response: Most welcome! I went out on a limb with the "theme". Happy Junking!
Response: Glad it was received! And hopefully there is something to inspire your new journal pages. Thanks for the rating and I appreciate the heart. :)
Response: I just HAD to go with the raven theme. I have been saving the feather paper for ages so it was meant to be! Glad you liked the "bits". I am sure we will be crossing paths in the post again. Three swaps so far!
Response: Wonderful! So glad you liked it. Did you find the postcard too?
Response: Yay! I really enjoyed writing the letter, I would have been sad if it was lost. You will have to let me know what you think of the music ideas I sent. Thanks for the heart!

Response: So glad! I had fun with the rooster on the front. He caused quite the stir at the post office. Did you get a giggle from the fashion police?
Response: Welcome. Thanks for the heart. :)
Response: So glad everything got there ok! I know what you mean about a paper habit. I recently have discovered another shop that sings a siren song. "Come buy meeeee." haha. Thank you for the great feedback and the heart!
Response: So glad that you can use the "bits". I think the swap was great, the post office wrapped my letters in an elastic I had so much! So cool. Thank you for the compliment and the heart. :)
Response: Glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart. :)
Response: Oh, I am so glad you liked it! I was a little nervous about sending something not quite on point for your profile. As for the rest, you are too kind. Thank you for the compliment and for the heart!
Response: So glad you liked it! Thank you for the rating. I am sure we will cross swap paths again!
Response: A membership fee for a library? That's such a strange concept. I picked up a couple books last week in the hope to spend the weekend reading in the hammock (that I was going to hang) but we had much needed rain instead. Glad you liked what I sent!
Response: Were you pleased with the Year of the Horse stamp? I had to try two post offices for it. Thank you for the rating!
Response: Yah. Not sure it was THAT funny. Felt like I was plagiarizing 50 Shades.... It was actually from a vintage Harlequin Romance I picked up to use for scrap.
Response: I am so glad you liked it! I love photographing churches. Some of my favourite photos are of the stained glass. I often wonder about their story of being commissioned. Thank you for the rating and the heart!
Response: So glad the letter was not too out there. I may have had a few glasses of wine (May= Yes) while writing my letters that evening! Thank you for the rating. ;)
Response: Oh, so glad you liked it! The Canadian Tire money is hilarious. The store treats it like real cash and will deduct it from any return. I will have to send it out with other international swaps. Thank you for the positive feed back AND the heart. So unexpected. :)
Response: So glad! Thank you for the rating. :)
Response: I love audio books! They help with my commute. I usually have one in the car. Thank you for the kind rating. :)
Response: Glad you liked it! Thank you for the heart. :)
Response: Oh my. I may burst! I can't wait to check out A Regional Assembly of Text. It's so my kind of shop. I can't tell if they have the Letter Writing Club in Victoria as well. Such fun! The paper is so basic, it's actually anticlimactic. Hilroy Onionskin. I can only find it at Monks Office Supply. Kind of pricey but it cuts down on the over all weight of the post. (I bought a scale. Yep. Got it bad.) Thanks for the tip and the heart! (P.S. There should be a Monks in Vancouver, they are like Staples!)
Response: I am so glad you liked everything, especially the sunglass case! It was so great paying less postage, I admit to just going all out. Your response made it worth while! :)
Response: Augh! No! I spent yesterday looking up online where to get Japanese Washi tape.... Onion skin and stamps. I have a serious problem! Haha....
Response: Most welcome! I look forward to the letter!
Response: So glad you liked them! I use onion paper and the only place I have been able to find it is at Monks Office. Good news is, they are in most large Canadian cities. Yay!
Response: I was all out of breasts. Glad you got it safe and sound. Did you notice the mischievous kitten in the picture? I thought you might like that!
Response: What a tragic past. I love that it's not being forgotten. And I learn so much by doing a little research! Thanks for the rating and the heart. :)
Response: Great advice. Especially the antibiotics! I hate the not being able to travel solo though. But my gut knows you are right. Can't wait for culture shock! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Response: It was hard sticking to such a small space. I researched your area and was inspired by the history. The landscape actually reminds me of where my mom's farm is in Ormond, Ontario.
Response: Glad you liked it! Thanks for the rating.
Response: I am so glad you liked it! Relieved even. I had such a great time making it and love that you love it too!
Response: So glad you enjoyed it! I was excited to see you like the hand made cards so made it just for you.

Thank YOU for the heart. Oh! I forgot to mention that the glow in the dark moustaches were for your nephews!
Response: So glad you like it! Did the pattern heart make it through the post? I worried about it, removing the button I used as a fastener.
Thanks for the heart. :)
Response: Thank you. I trying to remember if it was the tree mailbox I sent you....
Thanks for the heart! :)
