I was also little disappointed that you didn't use actual photos, but those you found from internet. I was looking forward to see something everyday and authentic instead of pics I could google myself. However, I think being ill is a legit reason to miss a swap date (it could happen for me too), the swap time was very short so there wasn't much time to cover any sudden and unexpected happenings, you did send as soon as possible and I really liked the bits of info you added. I like to read a fluffy novel every now and then, but when the whole plot is based on the leading character acting plain stupid, it's not enjoyable. The Dostoyevski book sounds like one I should try. I tried reading Brothers Karamazov once, but I only lasted 1/4 of the book before giving up. This sounds like a more possible one to finish :)
