Response: WOW! I really like this book log swap. It is almost like being in a book club. I am truly enjoying finding out what others got out of a book I have read and finding new authors. Thanks for the rating and comment.
Response: No, the ATC is part of the actual etching. The indentations on the zinc plate hold the ink. They usually aren't deep enough to stay in the wet paper as it dries. There is always a mark left in the paper around the outer edge of the plate which has a much larger delta than the marks on the plate. Hope that answers your question.
Response: I called it mylar for lack of a better term. I cut up the tops of Christmas card boxes, clear boxes that stuff comes in, etc., to reuse in ATCs. Then I can stamp on them with Stazon or use acrylic paint and foam stamps. I like to reuse, recycle and repurpose stuff. Especially if it is for ATCs.
Response: The poems are from a couple of very old mini books that are falling apart. The poetry is either a Tennyson or Longfellow poem. So glad you enjoyed the ATCs.
Response: Mainly I like stazon, Kaleidcolor, Memories, Tim Holtz distressing ink and the mini Versafine. The ones I used on the reduction carving quilt star were: 1) yellow-Mustard by Stazon; 2)orange-Tim Holtz distressing pad, Spice Marmalade; 3) red-Adirondack's Cranberry. The one with the deer is Kaleidacolor's Creole Spice. Glad you liked them.
Response: Thank you for the kind words. It was fun. Looking forward to doing it again. Will have to try some other Yogi teas.
Response: So glad the envelop finally reached you. Thank you for the heart.
Response: You are welcome. Have a great birthday!
Response: In fact that is where I started. You can tell from my "nom de plume", alteredtome (altered book). Thanks for letting me know it arrived and for the heart. Glad you like the ATC.
Response: Thank you but I did not host this swap.
Response: Cheryl,
So glad you liked them. It was fun getting out all my tea stamps and making up new designs using them.
