Comment: Hello Carolynn and first of all: Thanks for your awesome goodies! It really made my day opening your letter and reading the "Spill the tea"-part. And I barely managed to not shoot out "What an a**hole!" - This is a really mean rumour and I'm sorry it happened to you!
I hope it's nothign that does haunt you anymore and I wish you a wonderful week,
Maxi
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely swap! I love the cards, very unique and artistic. I love all the beverage stickers! The horoscope stickers are so pretty. I too had the same experience as you, several times. not good is it? I love this swap you made for me! ANd I'm always up for a private swap! Thanks again!
Response: Hello! I'm very happy to hear you liked it. I'd love to do a private swap!
Comment: I know a few people who have lived in the Dominican Republic. Very interesting about a lot there in New York. We have a lot here, too. When my daughter lived in Toronto, she also met more from all over the world than she did native Canadians!
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard! It is very cheerful and I don't mind the "rainbowland" text. :) As for book recommendations, I really like Sarah MacLean and Olivia Waite for historical romance. (Olivia Waite does write LGBTQIA+ romance, specifically L). If you like romance adjacent (not necessarily a happy ending, but emotionally lush and beautiful) Gabriel Garcia Marquez is lovely - I just finished Love in the Time of Cholera. :)
Response: Hey there! I absolutely love Garcia Marquez's work! He has a lot of classics in Hispanic literature. I will definitely check out Olivia Waite and Sarah Maclean. Thank you so much!
Comment: Hi Carolynn!
Thanks for the lovely postcard. My favorite red wine is a French Bordeaux. I started getting into wine after I worked in an Italian restaurant while I was in college. I learned so much about food pairings and flavor profiles.
Comment: Thank you so much for your great tropical postcard. I dreamed myself away :-) I will search for your favorite song and listen to it. I don't have a favorite song actually but what I listen to very often these days is "Black Coffee" by Lacy J. Dalton.
Comment: Hey Carolynn,
your card really made me chuckle. What a great chicken leg! :-D
Some of my current favourite songs are:
Cuba Feliz- Lagrimas Negra
Carson Coma- What a time to be alive
Alabama Shakes - Dunes
Thank you for introducing me to your favourite songs. :-)
Comment: It finally came! I've really enjoyed reading your letter to me, and I would love to respond to your letter, gonna send you a message right now.
