Comment: Thank you! My daughter has the book and I've been meaning to read it. Both my daughters and their friend are at the movie right now, LOL! Sorry noticed I forgot to add the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the book recommendation! I really love to read series when you get to know the characters closer. I'm definitely gonna look into this one.
Comment: Hi Karen, Sorry I'm late with your rating, I'm trying to get ready for a 17 day road trip ! Yay! Anyway, thanks for the two pages, I'm such a greedy type! Ha ha… Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you so much for the bookmarks. I especially like the one made from the Diana Gabaldon book page. I haven't read 'The fault in our stars', yet, but I seem to stumble across the title everywhere I go, so I might have to read it soon. :)
Comment: Your story page arrived today and I'm hooked!! I will see if I can get it from the Library. It sounds really interesting. I don't mind some of the young adult books - they are very interesting. I will see if Danielle (granddaughter turning 12 on Feb 27) would like to read it. She's been reading what I consider adult books for at least a year. She's just finished "To Kill a Mockingbird" which I read in Grade 12! Some books I've enjoyed lately are by Margaret Coel and the Maisie Dobbs series set in England. Almost forgot, thanks for the nice Bookmark. Chris crispycritter
Comment: Thank you for sharing your tree with me. You have a lovely collection of decorations. I collect them too. I have more then 300 and for now I'm able to put all of the on a single tree. Happy New Year!
Comment: Thanks so much for sharing your tree. It is lovely! It's nice when ornaments have been collected over the years, each with their own memories attached😀
Comment: It was so nice of you to write a little letter with your swap. It was nice getting to know you. I am wondering what happened before in this scene for such tension to be there. So good choice. Was this the first book in the series? I'd love to be pen pals if you do that sort of thing, you sound delightful.
Comment: Karen...Wow! You are so creative! I love how you did your doodles and lettering. Even the envelope was cool. Thanks so much for joining. Enjoying the stickers and tea, too.
Comment: Love your letter - thanks for sharing! I was able to spend 6-1/2 hours on future day in the theatre, watching all three movies on the big screen as well as some fake commercials for products in the movies. This was a first for me. Although I've watched all three back-to-back, I only saw the first on in the theatre.
You were wondering about my favorite scenes. Well, I love that in all three, Biff/Griff/Buford lands in some kind of pile of manure - hilarious! One of my favorite scenes is when Marty is alone on the road in 1955 during the storm, right after the DeLorean was hit by lightning with Doc inside and disappears, and the Western Union man shows up with a letter from Doc. How fun, especially after Doc keeps saying you shouldn't know too much about your own future - if he hadn't made a point about knowing this, he wouldn't have known to get the letter to Marty at exactly that point in time and place! I also love that the guys at the Western Union office were taking bets on whether Marty would actually be there!
I love all the little things that change because Marty and Doc are traveling through time - Twin Pines Mall to Lone Pine Mall, the Shonash Ravine that doesn't change to Clayton Ravine like it's supposed to, but later changes to Eastwood Ravine. The whole premise of the movies is fun and will stand the test of time, but all the little things I see each time I watch, that I didn't see before is what's really fun!
Thanks again for sharing. And remember, the future is now!
Comment: Hi Karen! Thanks for the book page and the bookmark. I enjoyed reading it. I am always on the lookout for new books. I enjoyed swapping with you. Take care.
Comment: Thank you for the cute card Karen! I loved the drawing :) I'm also dreading the very cold weather, but loving the cool crisp air right now!! :) Enjoy!
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers. Especially the one to the bonus question about how your parents met. Love it! And an extra thank you for the cool stickers :)
PS: 20 points for how you decorated the back of the envelope! Wow!
Comment: Thanks for the great pc and quotes - you can never go wrong with Keats :)
Response: Did the pc come through the mail okay? I was worried about it because the cardstock wasn't as think as I'd like. If not, I can certainly send a new one.
