Comment: Thanks so much for the quick re-send. I enjoyed seeing your snapshots especially the pumpkin wearing a seatbelt.๐ It's always nice to see your pretty cats too. ๐โโฌ๐
Comment: Hi Joshua! Thank you for putting so much effort in your e-mail. I really enjoyed reading it. I especially liked the part about genders according to First Nations. I love learning new things about Australia. Have a great day.
Comment: Thanks for the swap and your nice list. Nearly all are new to me that I will enjoy listening to.
Sorry for the delay in rating. I just found a bunch of swaps in my spam folder. Going to have to look at that more often.
Comment: Hello Joshua, the email has arrived safely. Hmm... lizardman, I might try to come up with some theories how it could work... and then succumb to my curiosity and actually read it :D
Comment: Heya :) Thank you for your diary - I've not played a Final Fantasy game in yeeeeeears! I might need to look at changing that and also, Cheese is just adorable! Take care, Deb
Comment: Thank you so much for your answers. I really enjoyed reading them ๐ I hope you get to visit Canada and try out poutine. I've heard that Quรฉbec has the best one but I am a little biased as that's my province ๐ Happy Swapping!
Comment: Hi Joshua! Thank you for the awesome kangaroo pc and information! I had no clue there were so many there - WOW! I hope to make it to Australia one day, but as I am getting a tad older that may never happen! Right now I am concentrating on flying out to Colorado Springs, Colorado to spend time with my grand baby and her parents (of course! LOL)! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: I got your 'Big Mountain Boots' postcard today - that was pretty fast! I agree it's rather bleh (although I liked the description blurb on the back) and therefore perfect for an ugly pc swap haha! Thank you! :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing! Several that I already know & like, plus several to check out in Spotify! HUGE apologies for the major late rate on this. I honestly thought it was already done.
Comment: Hello! This one sure took some time to travel around the globe. I'm glad it made to me safely. Thank you for the postcards you chose for me. I appreciate it. Take care.
Comment: Thanks, I'm always happy when you're sending music swaps to me because we have a similar style and there's always something that brings back memories
Comment: I've not heard any of these songs, Joshie, so I'll have a bit of listening to do later! Thanks for sharing, and introducing me to something new xx
Comment: I love when the pictures are nice and close like yours are; the cats fill the picture and I can really see the details. My favorite picture is Elijah in the too-small box, sticking his tongue out! Pime example of 'catitude'! Cube in the packing peanuts was hilarious! Did you end up with peanuts all over the place? They were all fantastic photos; thank you for sharing them! Best wishes and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for sharing and for joining my swap! Your kitties are so cute ๐ฑ Also, I know how cats love to try to get into things they should not, and the famous line, "If I fits I sits."
Comment: Funky PC lol love the Donkey tho! heheheh!!
Hope you are doing well! It's starting to get cooler here -- going into Winter over this side......I'd much rather be in Oz... my bestie lives there and I miss her heaps! x G
Comment: I read Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas this month! I'll definitely have to check out The Sunbearer Trials. Thanks for the list! Happy Reading. ๐
Comment: Thank you very much for the adorable envie! My cat, Mids and I love it. Mids is a old man with hyperthryroidism and kidney issues, but he recently had a weight check and gained a pound in 2 weeks and we are so happy! He is jumping on counters he hasn't touched since he was a kitten, so I think he is in better spirits, too. Hope all is well in Australia!
Comment: Hello :-) Thank you very much for your mavie/show recommendations. I haven't heard of any of these three yet and I'm so excited to check them out on Halloween! ^-^ That's great.
Yours,
Maxi
Comment: Thanks for sharing your thoughts (and I love the card you used!) I asked someone else this question and they also said Bilbo's 111th birthday! IT does sound like quite an event! :)
Comment: The tapes you sent are wonderful, thank you so much! ๐ I love using flower washi, since I feel like it goes with everything, but I LOVE cat patterned washi ๐พ I'm so excited to use these! Especially the paws and the black and gold kitties~
Comment: Hello :-) This is a wonderful swap, thank you very much for it and fili would be really interessting as a friend and soo much fun. XD Have a great weekend! Yours, Maxi
Comment: Thank you for sharing. I also love potatoes. The variety of the things you can make out of them is so huge. Poutine is also on my list. At McDonalds I have tried fries dipped in ice cream and it is really not bad.
Comment: Cats and rats, a nice set of pets. ๐ ๐ I love the tri-colour look, I have never seen that colour pattern on a rat. Their new cage looks like a lot of fun for them. :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing your answers. I definitely know what it's like getting a cat hair in your mouth, I could easily relate to that :) All the best!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your reading. I might try the Cinderella retelling. It's obviously a month for hospital -- I'm going into hospital on Tuesday and am busy deciding what books to take! Happy swapping!
Comment: Loved hearing from another queer animal lover! Thanks for sharing about life with your partner - it was great to learn more about your day-to day! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ
Comment: The postcard is so beautiful, thank you! The dragon reminds me a lot of a website where you could collect and breed tiny dragons. You could put the dragons in your signature and they grew by other people clicking on a certain link. Really liked that, and I had a few different species. Would you mind sharing the lik to the etsy shop where you got the set from?
Comment: I have not received the swap. I think it was another USPS victim. Have a good week.๐
Response: That's disappointing to hear, if it doesn't show up in the next few weeks (mail is very slow here as well) please let me know & I will resend!
Comment: Hello, I did enjoy reading about your cat. The closest I've been to where you live is a trip I took from Sydney to the Blue Mountains in 2000. I'm not sure what part of the blue mountains I visited, but it looks like I could have traveled through your town then. Anyways, I'll save the rest for a reply to your letter. thanks for writing, take care
Comment: Great set of pictures! I particularly like the cat igloo -- I think my son's cat would love one of those. It's been really fun to see how each person has found such ingenious images for the five letters in April.
Comment: First, thank you for joining my swap! Second, thank you for the songs and your stories behind them. ^^ I didn't know any of the titles, but I knew "Dirty Paws". I think it did the same thing to me as it did to you. I actually might like Of Monsters And Men a lot. Glad there were lyrics in the video, that's what made it click.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. 7 years ago, I bought my first house. I was able to unpack my books & filled 8 book shelves. Keep reading & enjoy your new home.
Comment: Thanks so much Joshua! Loved your song choices! I had For Yellow, Yellow light Of Monsters and Men too. Pretty good song actually. Out the ones you choose, I love Miley Cyrus': Clear and Marshmello: Chasing colors.
Comment: OOhh, I have not heard of the books you mention (I think) so I am excited to check them out and I know I'll find some brand new gem to add to my ever-growing collection of books I love. The struggle to do this list was fo' real!! Thanks for joining the swap! xxMuggleMom
Comment: Thanks for sharing your list. I've read a few of the books you listed (read "Bitten" & really liked it, many, many years ago!) My daughter reads Maas, but I haven't yet. She seems to be a very popular author! Happy new year :)
Comment: Heya Josh! Apologies for the delayed rating! YOU READ SO MUCH!!! That is so cool! I've not heard of these books so I'm going to check them out! Thank you so much for your email! I hope you're doing well!
Comment: I hope you get to read more books in December also! I think we all try to cram more books in before the year "expires" lol!! I like having a mark to hit, keeps me motivated. Thanks for sharing. xxMuggleMom
Comment: Thank you for the great run-down of your month! It is nice to have a little bit more freedom, isn't it? Hopefully this is the beginning of us being able to deal with it in daily life and move on... I am a sucker for books... I hope you got some good ones and enjoy them! I hope the road trip went well and that you like the area? It's always disappointing when the photos of the properties are misleading; you get an image in your head and it all comes crashing down. I hope you find what you are looking for soon! Here's to a fantastic November!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your titles. :) I read "Bitten" about 15 years ago, I think. Really liked the series, but couldn't find the books after "Haunted" and just never went back to it. It's so funny to think of a time before e-books and so on. :) Hope you like it too!
Comment: Hi Josh! Thanks for the book recommendations. I hadn't heard of that series but am a fan of happy rescue dog stories. Take care and happy reading--
Comment: You had me at "heartwarming stories of lost dogs finding new homes". This is one series I would definitely read. Thanks for your recommendation.
Comment: Welcome to Swap-Bot! Hope you are enjoying your experience so far. I hope you get a new home with a backyard so you can get a dog. We have 4 dogs and having a fenced-in backyard has been wonderful for them. I love seeing them run around the backyard and explore. That's good news about restrictions being lifted in your state. Hopefully, there's light at the end of the pandemic-tunnel!
Comment: Thanks for all the recommends - they are all new to me. The one I'm most interested in is "The Reading List & The Last Chance Library". All the books cover would have drawn me in too! xxToni
Comment: Thank you for sharing those lovely pictures, your cat is gorgeous! I have rats, I bet he would like to play with them!!! Hope you have a great October :-)
Comment: Thanks for the recommendations! These genres are new to me but Iโd love to check them out. And Iโm looking for something binge-able so this is perfect!
Comment: Thanks, Josh, it's always great to meet a fellow breather! I enjoyed learning about your binge-reading habits ~ happy swapping and welcome to LLU โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ค
