A few months back 123poggy123 hosted a similar swap (Faux Silk ATC) I have a photo of my Grandpa standing beside a Christmas Tree and ALL the gifts under the tree are wrapped in tissue paper. I love this photo and keep it hung up year round. It's old and in black and white, which allows the imagination to thrive as to what color the packages are, the ornaments and of course, what are in those packages. Okay so here's my swap details: Two ATC's to One Partner (it costs the same to mail two as it does one.) Using Christmas colored tissue paper, stamp a Christmas image on the tissue paper. Once the image is completely dried, crumple it up into a tight ball. Carefully open it back up, cover your blank ATC card (1 1/2" x 3 1/2") with white glue and carefully place your imaged tissue paper over the glue. DO NOT REMOVE THE WRINKLES COMPLETELY OUT OF THE TISSUE. Allow it to dry completely. Embellish it tastefully. Remember 2 ATC's for ! partner. Sender's choice but, it would be appropriate to check your partners profiles, so as not to offend their religious preference. |
