I Wrote it at the Write-in

Write-ins are a big part of NaNoWriMo. You go to one and get some writing in. Whether organized by your municipal liaison, you, online or other wrimos, a write-in is a great way to meet other wrimos and boost that word count.

For this email swap, go to at least two write-ins between Friday, Nov. 4 and Friday, Nov. 25. Send your partners a quick email about:

• where you went and how it was

• who was there

• the number of words you wrote during each event

• any other info you'd like to share.

To locate scheduled write-ins in your area, go to My Regions on your NaNo profile page, and find your people. Your MLs should have events listed. If you're in an area where there aren't any other wrimos, go to the forums and find an online write-in. Or organize one yourself at a coffeeshop, restaurant, library, etc.

Remember, write-ins are for writing, so hold the socializing to a minimum. You can do that in December! :)
