BOM Sample block swap

Most of us are familiar with sampler quilts. In this swap which will occur monthly through 2012 we'll make sampler blocks of the maker's choice but with the partner' color choice. So at the end of the year you'll have 12 blocks and can make a small quilt [with stripping and borders of your choice and construction] or if you're quite ambitious you can make two of each sampler block, one for your partner in her colors and one for yourself in your colors. Then you would end up with 24 blocks for a twin or full bed size quilt, depending on the size of border and stripping.

So the nitty gritty: you make one block, 10.5x10.5 of any design, pieced or applique, for your partner in her color choices.

As a group swap this is international, but you are only sending a block, it won't cost much, if you iron it quite flat it can be sent letter rate.
