Description:

Apparently, when you join the Crafting Queens Group, you do not automatically get issued a crown! I know - unbelievable! So let's make our own crowns.

Make one crown (heavy cardstock or reinforced paper so we can actually wear it!) for your partner. Senders choice in style and colors but it is always smart to check your partner's profile.

Make sure your crown will stay on - use ribbon ties or elastic or whatever you can create. Use embellishments to make your crown fit for a Queen! (I personally prefer real diamonds and rubies.)

As per suggestion from the boss lady (we all know who that is, am I right??) the crowns can be constructed from any material you want to use as long as the crown can be worn. Again, keep in mind the cost of postage.

For inspiration google images of paper crowns.

Would you consider other material? For instance, this tut uses lace - click me

I suspect there are a couple of queens that can whip up a wire one as well...

I'm a paper-whore, but would love the option of exploring further material :)

Ooooh - that's a cutie lace crown! And yes, a wire crown would be acceptable, too. But keep in mind the cost of postage - a paper crown can be mailed flat in an envie.

thanks mar1l1ze - I just lost an hour of time browsing this site, lol.... perhaps matching shoes to go with the crown? :-)

Hmmm... good point Arabella. My mind automatically went to package vs flatmail mailing - dope. Nice to know we have other options :)

@17Papergoddess - mwahaha!

Oooh, I would totally wear any of these while crafting! Especially this one, or this, or this one! ;)

I hope this swap will be followed by a scepter swap.
