Handmade Postcard: Favorite Cocktail

I love making postcards out of my photos and so I thought it would be fun to see someone's favorite cocktail on a postcard!

1. Take a photo of your favorite cocktail, print it out on high quality photo paper, and create a postcard with it.

2. Include a note telling your partner what the drink is on your postcard.

3. Send your postcard in an envelope.

The method I use to make postcards is as follows.

1. Take my photo using a high resolution (large number of pixels, for example, 3000 x 2500).
2. Print the photo on glossy paper.
3. Spray the back of the photo with adhesive spray (I use Aleene's Crystal Clear Acid Free Tacky Spray).
4. Spray the back of some heavy paper such as Bristol.
5. Wait about 60 seconds, then press the postcard on to the paper. I usually make more than one at a time so as not to waste the Bristol paper.
6. Use a ruler and an Exacto knife to cut your postcard out. This way ensures that your photo and the paper backing are lined up and perfect. :-)

I hate to add this information but I sometimes think it's a necessary evil to do so. Send to your partner what you'd like to receive and rate promptly.
