Monthly Swap Series #3: My Kinda Town

Welcome to the LLP Monthly Swap Series #3! This month, you'll be taking us on a prosaic tour of your city/town/village, long letter style.

This will be another multi-faceted swap, with the core being, of course, a lovely long letter. So, what's expected? Wellll...

A long letter tour of your city/town/village - describe your favorite places, the tourist destinations (if there are any), the architecture, the "scene" (whichever one you move in!), your favorite restaurants/cafes...basically, treat this as if your partner is your house guest and you want to show them everything you love about where you live - and maybe even some of the things you don't love! Standard Long Letter Pals rules apply. Minimumm 2 sheets of A4/US letter sized page, front and back OR 4 sheets A5/letterset sized paper, front and back. If you wish to write on the front of your paper only, you must compensate with more sheets!

Ephemera! Brochures, pamphlets, maps, tickets, receipts - all from places you frequent or would advise to visit. Subway receipts, theater ticket stubs, PCs...you name it! Include at least 3 pieces.

Photographs - These don't have to be taken just for this swap. If you have photos already, include them. If not, take them. Include at least 5 pieces.

Optional - You may include a small souvenir from your home. I realize that not everyone lives in a place where they receive a lot of visitors, so don't feel as if you must. But if you'd like to - think, a keychain, spoon, mug...any of that souvenir kitsch!
