I love Tim Burton! He has so many wonderful (and Deliciously Creepy) movies out. But alas, I am only to pick one. I had a ton of fun watching Alice in Wonderland ( with Johnny Depp who wouldnt enjoy it ;-D ) and thought it would be great to have a little jar of things to remind me of it. So here goes! We are going to do a Whimsy Jar. It needs to be 16oz or larger. You can decorate the outside if you wish. Inside should be items about the movie. For example, mushrooms, tea, pocket watches, etc. Pick a charcter or two to represent. Perhaps asking your partner who their favorite(s) are. (and as lovely as it would be to have Johnny Depp inside the package, it must fit in the jar). Get to it! Use your imagination! HAVE FUN!!! Please NO FLAKERS!! Any issues contact me!! Quick question, the items inside must represent the characters from this specific movie right? Ex. I couldn't take another representation of "Alice" from another movie or cartoon?

I just want to clarify, is a whimsy jar like a scene inside a jar or is it having the outside/lid decorated with little goodies or trinkets on the inside?

outside lid and/or jar decorated and little trinkets inside. You can do homemade items, store bought items, crafty supplies. It just needs to fit and look cute. For instance, I am going to keep my hogwarts jar on my bookshelf. The person painted the lid yellow, with a ribbon and "portkey" attached. Inside was a wand, my house colors scarf bookmark, my magic pet (a cat), a small pygmy puff in a small box, dragon stickers for mail. All tucked inside a canning jar. I love it. I hope that helps a bit.
