My daughter was talking the other day about some items she had heard about being sent thru the mail....like a ball and flip flop. They put a stamp in the item and mailed it. With this being Swap-bot, I thought this would be a cool swap and see what we find in our mailboxes. I'm making in US only due to cost. (and not sure if the items could even be send internationally) Chose an item weighing less than 13 oz. Write a note on it. Put an address label on it, PLEASE include your swap-bot name and real name in the return address area. Take it to your post office and mail it off. Check out these two sites for some inspiration: http://www.giverslog.com/?p=11453 (She sends Happy Mail, 13 oz. or less. Includes pictures of her sending different items) http://juliedeneen.hubpages.com/hub/-Funny-Mail-Crazy-Ways-to-Send-Mail-to-Your-Friends# (more ideas on what to send) Some of the ideas are a sponge, frisbee, box of candy, tins, bottles (with out liquid), chapstick. Hope you get the idea. Please post if you have any questions and I will find the answer, I hope. Making the sign-up date soon, in case some would like to get their item mailed before the rate increase. If there is a good response, I will try the swap again. |
