Description:

I participated in a similar swap last year and it was great fun. Thought it would be fun to do one here.

For this swap you will use all that junk you end up collecting on a daily basis and make some fun mail art postcard out of it. Use your receipts, price tags, junk mail, candy wrappers, train/bus tickets, movie stubs, local deli napkin where you had your lunch, a business card you might have received, a paper bag from your groceries etc. Only requirement is that is has to be recently accumulated, NO vintage ephemera for this swap! You can use any medium to add to it, rubber stamp, sew, paint whatever, but the all the papers used must be an everyday ephemera! Min. size roughly 4x6 inch (10x15 cm). Make it fun, make it groovy, make it SUPER and send it naked! Come on and make your crap beautiful :)

Yeah, this could almost be in the Sisters of the Holy Crap group ... but glad it's hear!

"Recently accumulated" - is that to drive home the point of NO vintage junk, or can I use things that are maybe a year old? I don't get out much so it takes a little longer to collect stuff ;P

@stephiedee it's indeed more to point out that no vintage junk should be used. I was thinking stuff not older than 3 years max. (in answer to your flickr question)) But would also be fun to see what people can make with the stuff they gather in the past 2 weeks :)

FYI the postcard I made above was made with stuff I accumulated in the span of 3 months of last year.

I'm extending the deadline to this monday the 25th.
