I am sorry but what is Steampunk

I am sorry, but what is "Steampunk?"

The short definition is that steampunk is a look of vintage (victorian era) mixed with modern day machinary. Think for example, a mixture of lace and gears. There are often a lot of browns and burgundies used in the colour scheme (but not limited to that). Common objects found in steampunk are goggles, octopus, flying blimps, gears, keys, victorian dresses and shoes, etc.... you can google images of steampunk to get an idea or feel for it. But it's not just clothes...it's jewelry, and art too. It's a whole sub-culture and genre. You should look it up and check it out. Hope that helps a little bit.
