Description:

OK, I've been signed up for the D&D Swap for a while now (CAN'T WAIT!). I'm getting so excited about it's coming up in a few months that I just have to get started doing something!!!

So I'm thinking 2xCards 2xPartners 4xCards total! Go Crazy!!

Your favorite races, monsters, implements of mass destruction, healing spells, what-not! I hope to see a lot of creativity from D&D playing swappers!!

A couple of ideas for getting images: The books (obviously), The movies were great, and I think at least one that I make is gonna have images from the Cartoon! (I can't believe that I actually own it heh!)

It's just cards, so lets go ahead and make it international, And nobody lower than a 4.5. I don't like to ban people, so I'm gonna angel if somebody doesn't get their ATC's! ^^ I hope that I don't have to, but I'm gonna make a lot of cards anyhow! ^^

For those D&D Players who havn't done ATC's before, I'm sure that you can do it!! Easy Peasy. Here are the nesicary components for fabricating a good ATC:

Card stock (or a couple of old playing cards from some "TCG" that just didn't go as planned)(I use VTM, Wyvern, and Hyborean Gates)

The size of your ATC should be 2.5" x 3.5"

Generally you want them to be able to slide into a card protector, but I personally am fine with ones that are a little thicker (aka have three dimentional elements)

You want a background and a foreground (think images, sayings, etc)

You can embelish them with just about anything (think yarn, string, ribbon, buttons, pendants, etc)

You put info about the cards that you made, the title for this one, and your contact info on the back.

More details can be found at Wikipedia.org by searching Artisit Trading Card.

Me, too. Me, too. I'm also in the other one and ...whine... it's still SO FAR AWAY.../whine...so I'm joining this one and trying to figure out who/what/how...to make the perfect set of ATCs. Yay! Thanx for starting this. It'll help "disburse the energy" a bit.

Indeed, let me know if I can help you out any on the "Quest for the Perfect ATC Technique" (sounds like a campaign in and of itself, eh??)

You kids are to funny! I know it is a long ways away. This seems like a good precourse though but I've never made an ATC. Anyone know where I could find out about them and then maybe I could join?
