Our first attempt at making a spring banner was successful. Lets think summer,and make a banner! Theme can be whatever you think of when you think summer: Flowers,Birds,Picnics,Watermelons,Patriotic (4th of July theme) Bright colors! Size is your choice. There are pre-made shaped banners that you can buy and then cover with your choice of papers.I've seen them at Hobby Lobby. You can make your own cardboard banner shape with cereal boxes! I hope you'll enjoy making a summer banner for your partner.

If you google : summer paper craft banner you will see some to get ideas.

And you don't have to spell out Summer, just use it as a theme for your banner.

I've enjoyed my Spring banner from Glenna so much. It is still hanging proudly across the front of our mantel. I'll replace it with the summer one and hope to get a CF collection for each season.

I've never made a banner, but I'm going to join this swap and try it out. I love all things crafty, so I'm excited!

I would really want to do this swap but I don't feel at all creative right now-sorry. I would sign up but with Bill and all-I'm not sure I would be able to get it done and out when I had too and be satisified with my banner I make to send to partner.
