Description:

PLEASE NOTE - The ornaments I receive from this swap are for 2 boys (see below). I'd appreciate no "girly" ones please.

I love to make handmade Christmas ornaments and now my 9 year old nephew and 3 year old grandson do to!

They made the pictured mitten ornaments for friends and family this year, with a little help from me.

They have several left over and wondered what to do with them. I told them I would set up a swap on swap-bot and see if they could get some different handmade ornaments from other people. They loved the idea...so here it is!

For this swap you will send your partner 1 handmade ornament. The ornaments must be homemade and able to hang on your Christmas tree. They can be made from any type of craft medium that you choose. Crocheted, knitted, cross stitch, plastic canvas, recycled, beaded, woodcraft, painted, paper, clay...are some ideas.

PLEASE NOTE ~ They made several different ones. You may not get one like pictured.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

I love to make Christmas Ornaments. In my Stitch & Sew Community, we start doing this iin July and send one ornament each month. Ours must be hand made. I would love to make some ornaments with braille on them. They look really nice. I use card-stock paper (2 pieces per ornament). I write braille on the pages, then cut out the ornaments, then I add the ribbon and sew around the edges. I would love to be in this swap.
I hope I may join in. I was in 5 swaps (e-mai note), (Post Cards), then I have my partner swa to send paper items, (Gain exposure to your blog), and (Gain experience about your blog).
If I may join in. I would be most happy to send an ornament to you. I could even make 3 ornies with braille on the. I hope I might be able to you you all. I am surprised that we are only making one ornie for just one person. I also belong to a "Stitch & Sew" community. there are about 50 of us in this group at the present. Some of us have known each other by name, even before the internet got going. Then it was called Prodigy. We are welcome to new friends joining, if you would like to join in with us. We just got done playing BINGO- where we are given a list of about 80 words, and we choose 25 off that listl, then we send out list to the one who will be calling. Then the one who has all the 25 words wins a Fat 8th of fabric from the people who were in the BINGO swap with us. This is a fun thing to do. Maybe we could do something like this here in Swap-Bot. I also like to knit. and at present I am knitting small knitted hats and will put a ribbon at the top for when we will be making ornies. I may as well get started now, then when the ornies swaps come, I will have something started.
Hopefully a new friend. Diana MiniQuilt

@miniquilt - Newbies are welcomed in most of my swaps. I do like members of swaps I host to have a well filled out profile. You may want to work a bit on yours. Check out other people's and use the format that swap-bot provides.
