Carpe Librum ~ Books for a Book Club

A Book Club had been done in the public swaps by a host that seems to have left swap-bot. It's a shame because it was fun and I know it made me read books outside my comfort zone.

So, lets have a book club here. After gathering all the books up, I will choose 5 different ones a week from which you will choose one (or more if you would like) and send your partner a letter (type 2) about it. The books may not be ones you will like, but each month (we'll do a monthly read) I'll chose 5 different genres so it's a diverse selection.

But first, we need books to choose from.

For this swap, you will send via email ~

• Please send your partner TWO lists of books : 20 of your all time favorite books (no picture books please, middle school/young adult and up is fine) AND 20 books on your to-read pile that you haven't gotten around to yet.

Since it's so many books, reasons why you loved it, or why you want to read it aren't necessary but you can certainly include that. After you have sent to your partner, please send your list to me as well so I can create a list of books to choose from.

Since this is a fast easy email swap, I'll only give a few days to sign up and a few days to send, so that I can have books read for August for the start of the August Book Club.
