Welcome to the felt food swap! Swap #1 went well with some amazing people who did a great job making fun felt food for the kiddos, let's do it again! For this swap you will have ONE partner that you will send TWO average sized felt food items to! What is made/sent is sender's choice but it would be really nice to take a look at your partner's profile and ask about their kid and what they would like (age, gender etc. if appropriate). Open to anyone with at least 5 type three swaps under their belt and no unexplained 1's or 3's .If you are a newbie, never done felt food before, feel free to message me if you have questions on how-to :) 4.9 rating as it's for our kids, I want to discourage flakers, no one likes to disappoint a little one :) Please only make/send something that you would like to receive, we all have different abilities and levels of experience, try your best to make something nice, and if you receive two felt food pieces in the mail on time please rate a 5 regardless on if they are something you really like or not. If you are creating something small, please send multiples of the item. Some examples are: noodles (make several to count as 1 item), small slices of fruit/berries....again, just make a few. Average size is defined as size of your fist, and is only a guideline to give an idea of expectations/guidelines. Any embellishments please make sure are secure on your food with glue/sewn as these will be played with by children. Also, please consider only joining this swap if your receiving child is 3+ as these may be small. If you have a wool allergy please let us know as some people prefer to use wool felt. Let's have some fun! Share your ideas of what you're making or links for patterns! :) For some ideas, check out my pinterest board on felt food: http://pinterest.com/sapsmama/felt-food/ |
