Description:

You can still join, also if you haven’t done the previous round(s).

You will sent a small notebook (the mesurements of the one I sent were 10,5 cm x 7 cm x 0,2 cm - so flat mail with low postage) to one partner.

In this book you will write your name & that you are the owner of it.

You will stamp a (rubber or clear or handcarved - you don't have to but you can even decorate it - ) stamp into it.

Under the stamp you write your name and/or nickname, the city/country you live in and the date.

The idea is that this book will keep on travelling in next rounds and each time someone will put a stamp in it, and finally it will return back to you, so don't forget to put your address in it!

In mine I also wrote an explanation about it, so if someone would pass it forward to a penpal or in another swap instead of the next round, the receiver will also know what to do with it.

I also wrote that if the last person who gets it & has to sent it back to the owner, will receive a surprise (but that's not an obligation to write into the book).

But when sending the book to your partner you will also sent a small -senders choice- surprise (stickers, postcard, ...) so that your partner also has something to keep. Because the book will be forwarded!

It can also be nice to put your stamp also on another paper for your partner to keep.

Let me know if there are anymore questions & enjoy this round!

how many pages is the minimum for the book? Can we send a handmade booklet?

PhoenixSwap 09/25/2013 #

@beenebag yes you can sent a handmade one and choose how many pages you like: if you make a book with only 5 pages it will return faster back to you, but you will have less stamps in it, so if you like a lot of stamps you can choose/make a book with more pages. there isn't a minimum or maximum of pages but I think with less than 5 pages the idea of the 'book' is a bit gone, and off course if you choose for many pages make sure the weight isn't too high, so that the person who receives it won't have problems with high postage when sending it forward
