If you were going to do just one big International Xmas/Winter swap, then this would be it!

Contents:

Among the 12-14 items, one MUST find:

  • 1 Christmas ornament high quality hand made or preferably store bought)
  • 1 Profile surprise
  • A note card with seasons greetings or Christmas wishes, with date, swap name, swap-bot ID, explanation abt items (if required) & a couple of lines about how you will be celebrating this year :)

Other ideas: Christmas greeting cards, winter theme notecards or postcards or letterset, gift tags, personalized bookmarks, address labels, ATC's, winter story book, candy, tea...hot cocoa, spice mix.etc, Christmas music, vintage Christmas items, stocking stuffer for family if mentioned on profile... scarf, calender for the new year, recipes, craft tutorials, small DIY kit mini trial sizes of lotions, shampoos or nice soaps, sample perfume vials, lipbalms, paper punch, seed bombs, ribbons, rubber stamp, deco tape, embellishments, Winter theme kawaii stickers, Something local (perhaps showcasing a winter tradition in your area or something from a Christmas market in your area, a winter or Xmas souvenir of your country.. -- you get the idea....

Requirements & flaking:

All profiles will be checked throughly/ Must have completed atleast 15 type 3 swaps successfully/ Rating: 5.0, will consider 4.99 & above on a case by case basis (No unexplained 1's or 3's).

Dont sign up for this swap if you have doubts. Its easy to get very busy and be on a budget at this time of the year so unless you are very sure that you will be able to send, there are plenty of smaller swaps on SB.

Note:

  • *Winter Themed: Think snowflakes, woodland animals, Christmas (of course!), snowman, red green gold, midnight blue, white, warm cozy evenings... Also since this is a winter swap, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, WInter solstice etc -- If you follow them & think your partner would appreciate something related to it, then why not... :)

  • Remember to read your partners profile really well, avoid things mentioned in the 'dislikes'

  • If they are religious/follow and practice Christianity, it would be ok to send a religious themed card/ornaments etc. but probably not otherwise

  • If they are going to be having a tropical Christmas, don't send gloves but its ok to send iced teas

  • Send from the heart :) > not just for the sake of getting it out of the way ..take the time to pick items they would like, pack it nicely, perhaps individually wrap a few items or decorate the envie on the outside, add a handmade surprise or just to create the mood add something you found on a nature trail! -- you will not be rated down if you dont do this-- but c'mon its Christmas and you are apparently a creative/skilled crafter, so how can you resist?! :)
