Description:

This is the fourth in a series of package swaps each with a specific theme. Other themes may include something seasonal, colours, pets or family members, foods etc.

Your package can include one larger item or several smaller ones. You can make the items or buy them. Just make sure you are truthful about their value. You must include a nice note card or letter with your package and please wrap it so it looks nice, tissue and ribbon or sticker as a minimum.

For this swap, please send your partner something food related; be creative! It can be anything really, something you made or something you buy but at least some handcrafting is encouraged. This theme is totally wide open and allows us to use our talents to make our partner happy so have fun! Just make sure its something they will enjoy. While most of us are experiencing cold temperatures, pleas consider melting if sending to the south of the globe!

Minimum value is $7 before shipping. This is loosely profile based meaning you don't have to choose based on exactly what is written there but in the spirit of your partner's likes and definitely avoiding their dislikes. This is especially important this round. Be sure to check for dislikes and allergies. You may add a profile section for this swap if you wish listing likes and dislikes if they aren't already part of your profile. If you are uncomfortable with home baked goods, please add a comment below.

Here are some ideas:

  1. Fancy or gourmet candy, chocolate, snacks, cookies (no boring stuff we can all find in a convenience store)
  2. Food mixes (may be homemade)
  3. Food wraps, packaging, tags, baking cups, cello or fancy cookie bags, cupcake toppers
  4. Specialty ingredients like sprinkles, sugars, edible decorations, flavourings, tea, flavoured coffee, spices
  5. Baking tools like candy molds, cookie cutters, cute kitchen tools
  6. Homemade baked goods only if packaged carefully to prevent breakage and as long as your partner is ok with it and make sure it will arrive before spoiling
  7. Misc: non-edible cake decorations, recipe box or cards, kitchen timer, tea towel or dishcloth If you include a recipe with unusual ingredients, it might be fun to include one like a flavouring, spice or sauce.

*Anything handmade should be beautiful, something you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. Sloppy work is not acceptable.

*Please have a 4.98+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out.

I'm a bit nervous about homemade items so I think I'll pass this round. Thank you anyway.
