Description: | |
This is the first in a series of swaps that takes common household items and uses them in Gelli plate monoprints to add visual "texture" and interest. We'll start with an easy basic one that everyone has probably already tried -- bubble wrap. You can use the honkin' huge bubble wrap, the itty bitty bubble wrap, or anything in between. Don't forget about the bubble wrap that is inside padded envelopes -- it is a bit different and makes for great visual texture. For this swap you will make one piece of mail art for your partner. Your Gelli monoprint must have some noticable and obvious bubble wrap visual texture somewhere in its design. The type of mail art you send is Sender's Choice from the following options: Postcard (naked or written on, minimum size standard 4 x 6") Greeting Card (it can be written on or sent clean with an envelope for your partner to use). Mail Art Envelope (you can send a flat goodie inside or just include a small note). Your print can be a stand alone design or it can include some collage or embellishment. Just be sure the bubble wrap texture is visible in your final creation. Requirements: One piece of Mail Art to 1 Partner Household Item: Bubble Wrap |
