Description:

The idea is this: you buy a disposable camera, walk around your city or town and take photos of places and things you would like to show to a fellow swapper - you make it a tour of your favourite spots around where you live! :) You get this camera full of awesome shots, write a short message about the tour you've organized and then send all that to your partner. After receiving the camera he/she takes it to the lab to be processed and thus gets your photos! How does that sound to you?

This swap requires not only a bit of your money, but also your time and creativity (while looking for good shots for this photo tour), so it's supposed to be a pretty precious exchange. That's the reason I don't want any flakers here, nor anybody who has not yet at least 40 completed Type 2 / Type 3 swaps behind their belt. And I'll check profiles of those who joins this swap before assigning partners, provided that there is any. ;)

You should rate your partner in this swap 5 if he/she sends out your package on time, you get a full disposable camera and there are pictures of some city / town when you get the photos done. + There should be a note added, not necessarily too detailed. You must remember to have in mind that the person who takes the photos does not see how they turn out, so do not judge if they're not perfect, yet if all of them are blurry or too dark, you have a right to ask for a resend. I think that'd be fair, though I trully hope there won't be a need for that.

Finally, if you have any questions, please ask.

This swap promises to be a lot of fun (both to send and receive), but I find the rating requirement of 4.94 way too low for the time/effort/postage this swap requires.

Just a thought...

Glad you liked the idea. I realize it's not a cheap swap, therefore I would like it to be as safe from flaking as possible, but I didn't want to make this swap at all inaccessible to somebody with a tiny bit lower rating (say, because of some misunderstandings in swapping history). And I intend to check people's profiles and remove anyone who seems suspicious. But perhaps you're right, the rating should be higher - I'll make it a 5 even, and if there's anyone who can't join due to not meeting this requirement, I could most likely be talked into a private swap with them.

Thanks for changing the rating requirement, @SoupLike

Have it on my Watchlist and will be joining closer to the date. :)

Sounds like an awesome idea! I am new to this site but I am not a flaker. Disappointed I can't join but ya'll have fun!

If all goes alright (and it should since there are so few of us - probably due to my high requirements... sorry!), I don't see why I couldn't host another swap like this in time. Maybe I'll lower down the 40 swap requirement to, say, 30 or 20, most likely you'll have more then as well, so keep an eye and perhaps we'll meet later. :)
