Description:

This swap was inspired by my love of strange words; something that I'm sure that many of you also share in. :) The idea is that you will have a look over your partners profile and send them at least three words (and their definition) that you think that they will like, written on the back of a postcard. These words may be in any language (but please translate its meaning to english somewhere on the card), and from any time period. An example of an obscure or strange word might be "tachydidaxy", which means "quick instruction or teaching", or "querimony" which is a complaint.

Postcards should be chosen with consideration towards the receivers preferences; whether you send your cards naked (without an envelope) or in an envelope is completely up to you (the sender).

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; please note that if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps.

Newbies are welcome on a fairly selective basis. Please have a well filled out profile (with a nice listing of your likes as well as a self introduction) and consider joining the Newbie Helpers group. If I see both of these things when I'm checking your profile, you're in.

Please note that I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain fun and flaker-free.
