Hausschreck is the german word for an ugly present you got from your family or friends with an emotional touch so you cant throw it to trash. A hausschreck is mostly kitschy or does not fit to your life and living.. a german tradition is to make a game with the hausschreck. You have to dice with a friend or collegue who has to take that ugly thing home til the next year and has to decorate it at home... So lets do that tradition worldwide and let the hausschrecks discover your home. It s fun. Be creative.. everything could be a hausschreck or a beautiful treasure for another one.
