Description:

Have you ever participated in the Adventures of the Traveling Postcard, hosted by @AnnieMaxine She's graciously given me permission to adapt that swap for Carpe Librum.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND

Choose a postcard. It can be any postcard, as long as it's not overly large, or odd shaped, pretty much any postcard that uses standard postcard rates works. Hamemade, Zazzle, Store bought, they're all fine. Write your address (including the country) on the right side, and put "Traveling Postcard - Carpe Librum Style" at the top, along with your Swap bot username. Put it in an envelope and mail it to your partners.

IF YOU'VE PARTICIPATED BEFORE

Take the postcard you recieved in the previous round, and send it on to the next person.

Didn't recieve a card yet? Start a new one! It's okay to have multiple cards going out, but only if you don't have a card to pass on.

When You Recieve your Partner's Postcard

Write your book recommendation on the postcard, both title and author on the left side. Put your name (Swap Bot name or real name) & country on it as well. Write small, this postcard is going to go through many people. DON'T MAIL IT BACK. You're going to send it on in the next round. Don't forget to rate your partner.

This is going to be like the Adventures of the Traveling Postcard swap, there will be multiple rounds, with a 10-14 day sign up period and a week to send. Postcards will be mailed back to their original owners once they're full. Due to the holidays approaching, the timeline to sign up and send has been adjusted

Please do not damage the postcard you recieve, keep it where it won't get damaged until it's time to send it on. Don't send back a postcard that doesn't have the left side filled out.

Questions? Check out the Frequently Asked Questions. Not there? Post them below or send me a message.

Standard Carpe Librum rules apply: log in within a few days of the signup date, I still reserve the right to ban folks, however unlikely that may turn out.

I liked that people in @AnnieMaxine 's swaps let people know when they'd received somebody's card. I've been in since the beginning of this swap, and would like to know if it's still out there.

I have Margie Schnell's card to send on in R7 (no username) - she started in R4. It left the US right away, to the UK, then went to Australia and is now in Canada! Not a bad traveller.

@user6937 I had your postcard in the last round. I mailed it to a partner overseas, but haven't heard yet that it arrived. Hopefully it's made its way there safely!
