Hi! It's quilting season and I'm so excited for it. I found this easy quilt block tutorial and want to give it a try. Please make at least 2 Granny Square Quilt Blocks, one for each of your partners, and one or more for yourself if you'd like. Use white for the background pieces. I prefer Kona cotton plain white, for example. Please just don't use thin flimsy stuff like broadcloth; all the fabrics should be high quality quilting cotton. The colored fabric in the squares should be prints as opposed to solids, and bright contrasting colors, something like the photo. If there is interest, I'll host this swap again in about a month so we can end up with enough blocks for a quilt eventually. Thanks! I'm also hosting this swap for the general public if you want to trade more than two at once. |
